scammers have always been. and before they were just as great. interest in ico disappeared from the negative market. coins after ico are worth a penny and investors just take care of their money and are waiting for the market to turn
The reason why most of the campaigns are extending is due to their coins that has not being sold out yet and they only have few investors which needs more marketing strategy.
This year's ICO financing is very difficult.I think the current market biggest dip is having its turn on many of them. So of them base their expected goals on when Btc, ETH and some other acceptance crypto were still relatively okay. Now that it is down, many of them are finding it hard to move forward.
Well, almost all campaigns have done it, the real example is in the project I'm following, they are increasing the number of dates for the campaign.

Almost Ico these days extended because of lack of investors. Did not reach or meet the softcap due to market went down price of crypto has down. So usually when Ico extended it's date bounty also.
I don't think that's the truth, the reason is because of the bear market, everything went down, people's asset went down to the bottom, most of the ICO that manged to hold their ICO most of them are below their ICO prices and this has discouraged the investors.
Because projects are not getting funded. also they couldnt reaching soft cap at their projected time. They have no any other option than to expect sales period. Once sales period is extended, the campaign period would be extended too.
The market is shifting and coin makers are adjusting their business to catch momentum.

I quite agree with you that investors are not really interested in investing in ICOs due to scam and that is why most ICOs have been extending the duration of the ICO but I believe it is also delay tactic by the team because they do not want to list in this kind of bearish market so they would prefer an extention to facing their investors clamouring for listing.
I think that the situation will save only the real legislation that will regulate the company's ico market. It is necessary at all costs to return investors to ico companies.

I have seen so many reports of unwarranted bounty extensions that it seems like it is just becoming commonplace. Why not just accept that the bounty operators can do whatever they want? I mean after all, it is their bounty. It is easy to see why it would be extended probably because they haven't met their goals yet.
There are many ICOs that extend the time of the bounty campaign because their target to get investors has not been fulfilled. Or not enough people were gathered.

Correct me if i am mistaken, the only reason i know why many bounty campaign are extending is because of the soft cap of the expected period is not reachin. And the other and more reason is i don't know yet, that is why because of this forum i hope i learned more about this situation
There is an iota of truth in you suggestion, this has really dampens investors morale to contribute in any ICO. Also the red market nature also scare most investors an this is really costing most ICO projects.

I think bounty campaigns are extending when they don't reach their purpose. It is not an easy job to find a good one but when you find it it is worth the try.
It is because they're trying to gather more funds or maybe the product is not yet ready to launch so obviously they are buying more time. If you are tired of promoting them you can stop and choose another one which you think will not extend anymore. You can't please the management of the ICOs to stop their extension of crowdsale, there's always a reason behind to that decision.
Of course, you have valid point, investors interest have reduced, it is hard to raise fund for a project, that is why ico are extending to reach softcap at least, this is affecting bounty period too.
Right, but there are also project who decide to hold a post ICO bounty. Such bountie has as goal to get more audience in the world of cryptocurrency for the project.

Yes i do agree on your statement, success rate of ICO's nowadays are suddenly decreasing due to this scam ICO's that proliferates lately, maybe ETH community could do something in order to lessen this problem, and its one of the major cause of the sudden decrease of price of the ethereum coin.
