The main reason is that project didn't reach their goal (softcap or hardcap) or maybe they still not satisfied with their income so they decided to extended their ico and bounty got extended too.

Because the time of public sales has passed. Investors have become smarter. No one is just in such a hurry to part with their money. Projects do not achieve their goals and extend the ICO stage. This is agony.
Because a lot of ICOs are not collecting the planned amount of money. Because of the market situation, or the lack of advertisement, they simply do not reach their soft cap. So, it would be better one day, when a new wave of fresh investors will arrive.
I believe that much depends on today's market and the number of scams. At this time, it is very difficult to gain the right number of investors who are also afraid to take risks
Most campaigns are expanded due to collecting too little money to achieve a soft cap. The extension of the campaign gives team a chance to attract investors and collect more money necessary to develop the project.

Reaching a soft cap or hardcap is more difficult now because of the present market condition. The number of investors are not enough to fill up the required cap so they have to extend the ico for more weeks or months even the bounty campaign is over. Some ICOs are even quick to give up or close their initial offering when they did not meet their target and opt out for sale extension.

I understand your frustration, but it is a market condition. With a bull trend majority of bounties will end prior to deadline, because ETH value can double and as a result all collections will double as well

This is one of the major reason, some used the excuse of extending to deflect the market situation such as today. Bearish market is a big trap on an ICO project. Chances that the token will get dump are bigger once it hit exchanger and some ICO doesn't want this to happen. Actually fair point but a little bit selfish, as it seems foe the investors of that project.
