because the market capitalizations of cryptocurrency is falling now
and a lot of ICO project have the same idea like the past one, without bring new features or new tech i think this is the main causes
then, the project didn't collected have enough money to develop the project

Maybe the ico project is not good enough to affect the sales results, because every ico must have a sales target that is hardcap. But many ico who have different problems different, but most importantly it is the sale of ico.

Sometimes there are too many competitors that make a certain low ICO profile lose its confidence to level itself to those who are giants (high profile ICO) that leads to its altcoin to get dumped and forget forever. Some are only a scam and only intend to scam people from the start and couldn't care less if their ICO failed as long they stole the investors money investment. Also, the team is not solid enough to make the project good enough for the consumers. There are many reasons I just stated a few and go find it yourself why do they failed.

In the last two years the crypto market has been going through an ICO bubble. And this bubble is just about to pop due to it reaching unsustainable levels. ICO projects with not much to show case are being valued at hundreds of millions of dollars not to mention these projects having incompetent devs.

Some ICOs have failed because sometimes the marketing strategy is weak, they have not progressed well, and perhaps the product is not attractive to customers or the idea is not strong enough.

The reason why there are ICOs that are failing is because of the team behind the project are not solid. Investors wants that the team behind the project are solid and have good educational background. The product of the ICO is the most important thing and it is the main reason why the investors are making investment.

some of them are scammers and some of them failed cause of wrong marketing strategy.
They cut the marketing budget so they get less investors.

If the idea is bad then it's better for that coin not to exist. Also why would you invest money in something that isn't thoroughly thought out? Researching ICOs is a must before investing money in it.

Maybe ico sales results do not reach the target already in the plan, so a lot of ico projects that fail. But now there is ico that extend duration of the sale, in order to reach the target.

It depends on success rate of an ico project. If in running project they have less effort and bad team, like not effectively marketing, investors that have been respect are going to losing the project beacuse the bad issues. There are lot of factors that can makes an ico failed.

There's a few factors why ico's fail. The team, the project and the community. Either the team is not committed enough to deliver the ico project, nor the project fail to deliver and have real usage or the coin/token was not widely accepted by community. And let's not forget that there are scam ico's which are bound to fail.

I think it could be because the project is not good, because a good project will be a lot of devotees. But it can be due to the manager who is not responsible just to get the benefits and just leave. And last maybe the project is the minimum investor to participate.
