Yes, bitcoin is used for lots of bad things, including porn, drugs etc. But have they forgotten that money is used for almost 100% of everything ?

Bitcoin does less harm even. That’s why I don’t want bitcoin to be accepted for everything, because people will start blaming everything bad thing that happens on it.

Right,there's no impossible with that because all coins will result into bitcoins. Everything will be under bitcoin for it has higher value thesedays. Let me highlight the thing mentioned above, it's still hard for the government to put any regulations this time because it hasn't given authority yet in the society and therefore people are still waiting for the approval for that. Let's not wait for the chances to be wasted so government must do an action of this soon.

As my observation serve me well,, I would say the reason is about "freedom",, a word that been associated with bitcoin since its creation date. Does it really matters to us?? Yes,, we do care about our identity for so many reasons and one of those is personal security of your own and your family.. In banks the information is readily available for the criminal minded bankers..

Its not that anonymous than you think it is, and definitely not that safe as you imagine it would be especially if you're doing dubious activities.

I think no matter how you use it, you cannot consider it as being misused I mean it was made as it will be used freely by the users. The whole creation of it is a means of freedom it self.

Logically, because its increasing popularity. Then demand for bitcoin is increasing. Well, if many people who hold bitcoin, of course demand for bitcoin isn't met so price continues rise high. And certainly give benefits for bitcoin holders. Which in turn, has very favorable bitcoin than having fiat though in huge quantities.

There are people who prefer Bitcoin than regular currency for the simple reason that it is profitable to them. Just by holding their wealth for a period of time, they'll already make profit out of it. Bitcoin's market value is increasing as time passes by, so it is not surprising that the profit that its user will get will also grow over time. Its other advantages such as being decentralized and the likes are plus points.

if they're aiming to keep their bitcoins so its overall value will increase, wouldn't it be better to also value fiat as much as bitcoin? i mean if you keep using fiat for all your daily

expenses then the overall amount of bitcoins you have will be kept, more holdings more profit. on the contrary using bitcoin everytime results the opposite. preferring

something in this situation is not really necessary as you can both take advantage of them

I think most of us like bitcoins because in bitcoins are finances have an oppurtunity to grow unlike fiat that it wss fix & its stay there though we can buy anything we want easily by fiat, I cant replace my bitcoins to fiat becoz someday btc prize will boom & thats a great opportunity for us to grab it right now.

People are prefer to use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency over Fiat money bacause the people who lives today are called Millenials who born and grow with technologies. People are prefer to hold a cellphone than a coin, wallet or an ATM Card. And Gadgets are the medium of the cryptocurrency for us to be use it.

I think that we have come to the point when it's easier to earn bitcoins than fiat money, this could be one of the reasons. Also, Bitcoin it's easy to use, it's available everywhere if you have Internet connection and you are not depending on the bank. Anonimity could be another reason and of course the high value.

Yes I think you're right they also use fiat to do these dirty things and I guess the reason why they use bitcoin because it is easy and the transactions are fast. They can transfer a big amount of money without being questioned.

Bitcoin is a decentralized currency.Every one could use it for whatever they wish.No one could control it.In earlier times,bitcoin was mostly used for illegal activities since it is pseudo anonymous.But after some altcoins like monero,zcash came with bfull anonymity,dark markets left using bitcoins.More over,bitcoin has user base all over the world and today it is used for all purposes especially as an investment and not for illegal activities.

I guess it is not fair for Bitcoin to say that it was used for illegal activities in the early stages of bitcoin and the same also with present Bitcoin it is no longer used for illegal activities. With all due respect, these are a fallacy. Why? Because because bitcoin was is and will be used to whatever holder of it is going to as they please - hence, it is still can be used for illegal activities just like the fiat money and it was use to buy pizza before and not just for illegal activities..

It is not the job of a currency to evaluate the morality of the user or his actions, a currency is just a way to facilitate trade and in that bitcoin is great, many people can complain as much as they want about the way some people use bitcoin but at the end of the day bitcoin does not hold responsibility for the actions of its users, it is like trying to imprison the CEO of Ford for every accident involving their vehicles.
