This is exactly why crypto or even BTC is still young despite 7 years in. BTC has not achieve what it has set out to achieve as a currency coin yet. You might think that majority of the world population might know BTC but that is just not true. Although more and more people per day are definitely gaining awareness of the crypto industry.
I think it's because some people think (especially for newbie) they can get it free on internet and they dreaming want to be rich by that
Lots of places to spend your bitcoins on. You don't have to spend it on those subjects you mentioned
It depends. Maybe in your place there are lot of places but not in mine. It is hard to see a stall with a sign that accepts bitcoin. It is always changing it to hard cash first before you can even spend it. Now, I have just been doing online buying instead of going to the mall.
The same thing with me either there are only few places here in my country where I can use bitcoins and there is no physical store that accepts it.
Good thing that the exchange here is capable for accepting bitcoins by using their service that we are able to buy prepaid load cards.
And as well as paying our monthly dues.
Here in my country also i cannot use bitcoin on any physical store , only thing i can do is convert to fiat currency and use it or i can only recharge my mobile phone, data card and some online services because that is carried on by individual person who wants btc
Do not worry about the progress and acceptance of bitcoin as a means of payment for all the things we need need the process, because the shopkeepers would have much more use of the means of payment that provides many advantages and convenience to them. It may be that your country is still in the stage of recognition so that you get is the unavailability of bitcoin acceptance as a means of payment, so now it would be much better to use bitcoin for investment. Yes, unfortunately this is the downside of Bitcoin and it hurts many of us in the Bitcoin community. On the one hand, the decentralization aspect is a blessing and protects our privacy. On the other hand, it enables people to use Bitcoin for this kind of transactions. So in reality it's a mixed blessing and this controversy will exist for as long as Bitcoin does.
As for society - it does not become more or less unhealthy because of Bitcoin. If people have the disposition to buy drugs, gamble and enjoy porn, they would find a way to do it even if Bitcoin didn't exist.

People picked Bitcoin over fiat because it is decentralized unlike in regular currency. Regular currencies sometimes requires credit card along with third parties such as banks in order for you to save and use you money. In Bitcoin you can use it as you want including negative ways, because it is decentralized. It has also less charges compared to fiat in transactions and tradings.
I prefer bitcoin as an investment because its value can rise very high. And I prefer fiat as payment method because its value mostly will remain stable. They are two different things and have their own goals.
That's why they choose bitcoin and misuse can't be avoided. Some people do not want to be tracked when transacting. For example buying goods / commodities online where they ask you to enter your confidential or credit card information that is too risky
I agree with most of your statement. I think that Bitcoin was not purposely made to accommodate things such as these. It was created for direct peer to peer transactions, erasing the middlemen. But once Bitcoin was out there, it was left to men on how to use it. We have used and manipulated Bitcoin to fit our purposes because of the advantages it has provided us. We used these advantages because well, they’re advantages. They’re the ones that makes people wants to use Bitcoin. So is it really misuse when we use Bitcoin’s offered advantages?

Bitcoin is prefered by many over flat because of its volaitility. It has various advantages over flat which is the main reasons why it is being widely used. First is it doesn't collect taxes from any transaction you make and it is also saves more time. That is why some individuals take advantage of bitcoin for crime transactions like drugs. We can't monitor a drug deal with bitcoin because it is more complicated and can be easily used to disguise a deal. Yes it hurts that misuse of bitcoin happens but that is beyond our control to decide and resolve.

I agree with that, it can lead to unhealthy society. The misuse of bitcoin is really not good. Other people are thankful having bitcoin and working hard to earn it, but other people are just wasting it but on the second thought, it’s they’re money so that it’s their right to spend their money whatever they want. I think they will realize the importance of bitcoin when they need it on a serious matter.That right, It seems they are not using bitcoin positively and are just taking away from others and it's certainly true that such people are not good.

Bitcoin was meant as a decentralized digital currency. The adoption of bitcoin has to start somewhere right? look at VR, the porn industry was one of the first to adopt that as well

Absolutely, many of us will of course choose bitcoin. Though there are instances that bitcoin drops but let's think of the positive sides that caters most of the time. We all know that fiat can be also exchanged into real cash through bitcoin but technically it is bitcoin's edge where many of us gain profits. Our lives dramatically change,the way we live in and the way we make friends. Therefore bitcoin is still the best.You are right mate. Before, I just think of bitcoin as something kind of passive but to these days, I already see it seriously and with respect because I earn a lot already and have even convert most of my bitcoins into cash which was spent on something worth of the money. For me to this day the best use of Bitcoin, in the sens that no solution in the whole world can compete with it or be at the same level, is gambling. Imagine you're burried in debt, you have money problems, you're bank is closely watching your accounts... The only solution to be able to gamble safely is to use Bitcoin. Moreover you'll keep all the profits, unlike when you bet with cash. That's just an exemple but there's probably many more.
