The government of my country can only increase the level of corruption, theft at the state level and so on. Bitcoin is a salvation from them and it is not necessary that they touch cryptocurrency. Although the government is necessary for the state ...

Nobody wants to be controlled in their money. Nobody wants to pay taxes but they have to because it is the law. So everyone wants to enjoy the benefits they have right with bitcoin, the freedom and the volatile yet rising value of bitcoin and it is not subject to any law yet.

If you will really think about it, bitcoin is a crytocurrency that cannot be manipulated or controlled by the government. Many traders realized just how astounding bitcoin is, thus the concept of anti-government emerged.

I think 80% of people are anti government , it is just because some of the law of governments are causing people be in poverty . some people also thinks that the government didn't do anything for their own countrymen ..
If you think about it governments do not really solve anything and in fact create more problems than they solve, they charge you taxes to keep you safe and yet criminality rates in my country are sky high, they say they redistribute wealth for the poor, but they steal most of that money and they do not generate wealth themselves so they make the process and even greater waste of time, so like you see governments of the world fail at almost anything they are supposed to do.

Taxes is  the one of the reason for anti government thought. All the country in this world charging taxes from there people expect Arabian country.Did they spend that taxes for the people welfare???
Obviously no,so this make the people angry for the stealing of their money in the name  of taxes.

Bitcoin is not controlled by the government. Government doesn't not get tax from it. Because be decentralized with bitcoin. People are not much interested to give tax to government. For this reason, they are anti government.
It doesn't mean that the people are against government in terms of tax collection with our bitcoin. The main thing is that, the government won't let their people to be engaged with bitcoin as they can never controlled this. That's why some countries are regulating bitcoin is for them to try controlling it's flow in the market. And of course the community don't want it to happen, because it may lead to the abuse of their authorities towards bitcoin and may creat troubles in the long run.

I think it's also like that everyone connected with bitcoin will become anti-government. I think it's because of the government because too many unreasonable regulatory rules are money

No one here is anti-government. But yes the idea of bitcoin itself is quite anti-government. People here just want to be the real owner of their money and dont want to give up any share out of their money to someone. But what they don't realize is that instead of any national government we have a set of miners here to whom we actually end up paying taxes(or fees). So its nothing called anti-government in bitcoin too.
True, most of the people in the forum are not anti government what we want is to be free to do as we wish, within certain limits of course, but governments do not want that they want to know every single thing about you, it seems that people in this age have forgotten what it means to have privacy, every time I talk to them about that, they say I have nothing to hide, me neither but that does not mean I want everyone to know what I'm doing all the time.

There really are people who are anti government but I don't think if we can call it "anti government" when it comes to Bitcoin's system using a blockchain technology. It doesn't mean that using decentralized platform symbolizes generally to be like we are an anti government. We just need to have a privacy, security and transparency features or characteristics of Bitcoin so that there will be no more third party interventions like banks that is controlled by governments and of course with the pressence of tax. Grin

They are people looking forward to what they expect if the bitcoin would consider as a secondary money. Because they found it how simple and fast transaction that has to be done in just a few minutes. Being acceptable payment It would be much easy, no hassle free required. And everything must be in   places.

Anti government? When it comes to bitcoin.First thing, we are not controlled by the government. Bitcoins are free to everyone. Thats why we can't call ourselves anti government because bitcoin is not governments property.

Yes, it is just not fair honestly, when you just see some set of people you have placed in the position of power doing things to hurt you and even trying to take food away from your mouth. Definitely, it is a wicked world most especially for some people who have some wicked corrupt people in government.

There are some countries that no one should ever believe any of the citizens will be suffering when you look at the natural resources bestowed on them, but it is just funny how the government decided to monopolize all these and make people suffer for their daily needs. Tell me how people like this will not be anti-government ?

I really doubt the number is that big, I'm sure most people's view is a bit more nuanced than that.
If your statement was correct, that would mean that 80% of people are basically all for anarchy, since that's what it basically comes down to if you're anti-government.

Most people probably feel that the government needs to change, but they're still glad that there is a government.

Also, posting these statistics without any sources to back them up doesn't do any good. I can also make up some numbers and use them to fit my agenda.

That number is way, way too big. Maybe in some undeveloped corrupt countries it's somewhere close to that number but it's not that people do not want the government but maybe a reformation or a new leader. I can use my country as an example, people here are crying about the government and want the President (former PM) to be replaced but far from anti-government.

We generally don't like the governments getting too involved with our personal, financial/economic, social lives so when we start using a technology like Bitcoin which not only gives us a choice to steer clear of governmental regulations/interference, but also empowers us economically, I guess we naturally tend to be anti-government when it comes to Bitcoin. The sentiment behind the creation of Bitcoin is anti-government, but does that mean all Bitcoin users are anti-government? Nope. Different philosophies, while for a few anti-government/anarchism/agorism is appealing, censorship-resistant border-less means of exchange does matter, and for others these aspects doesn't count much.
Haha, funny. By the way, who said something about anti government here? Only a fool will say he doesn’t want the government. Bet me, you can’t live in a world where there is no government. All we pray for is that we get a leader and not a ruler. The only people you see here that are anti government are the bad guys, probably the criminals, who don’t want the government to look into their evil business. Good people has nothing to hide about themselves.

Who's not?
It is getting weary relying on the government to do their job when no one else really did. It is just a campaign where they spend money for election thinking they can double it after they got elected or maybe even triple that money and more.
That is how the government works now. A lot of people want change and just rely on themselves to create the heaven that they wanted.

People don't want bitcoin to be controlled and regulated by central authorities as they feel it would be against crypto-users interest. It is a propaganda created by some people without thinking the cons of a decentralized economy.
Lets have some patience and see what steps central authorities are planning to take in order to regulate Bitcoin or crypto-market, then only we can decide these regulation policies are good or bad for crypto-users
It's not by choice but by design that Bitcoin is censorship-resistant and that's one of its highlights. Imagine we would not have been here today discussing about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency if they had that control, because they would have killed it right away just like a number of governments attempted banning Bitcoin only reality dawned on them that practically they cannot and that makes the day of many because the power that some gold smiths stole ages ago just got back to its real owners.

I think everybody understands the need for government. But governments must fulfill the needs of the people and not just a few of the rich and powerful. If governments were truthful, democratic, efficient, resourceful, just and transparent, there would be few complaints  Cheesy
