Its because more traders are into profits, they buy new tokens/coins which they think will have a good impact in the market but not all of them are into price, there are also buyers who are investing to a certain project because of its usecase.. In my case, I do like Bytom which is a really good project for me. Its triple-layer approach to blockchain distributed applications is what caught me to invest on them.. The price is not that high but its really worth it.. If you want to buy it, you can trade on Atomars since its their new exchange and there's free trading fee there.
The reason why i buy a new token or coin because i expect a good profit from it when i used it for trading, but new coins in the year of 2018 i didn't get much profit because most of them are not good anymore, that is why i decided to continue to trade in top altcoins in the market like ETH, BNB, XRP, LTC just to have a profit.
for me depends on needs.
if I buy a new coin or token at a low price then I will sell it when there is a good opportunity, my intention is to get double the profit from the initial capital.
I personally haven't thought about spending things using crypto coins, maybe next time. but sometimes I spend it to buy new coins, which I think are worth buying.

Basically, 90 of hodlers would buy to trade. Just what I have witnessed overtime.
They do arbitrage, where they buy one coin from one exchange to trade in one exchange that has a much higher price than where they bought it, and many traders are involved on this kind of activity because there is a profit to be made here, but you have to have big funds and fast connection to do this.
What is the most reason to buy new token or new coin, to trade it in the market or to spend it if there something to spend it?
I am talking here that token or coin already listing in exchanges.
And not tokens exchanges such as BNB.

Basically, the reason why they want to buy new coin because sometimes when you trade a new coin, you could earn even a little profit from it. But for me, trading a new coin is not worth because my first time buying a new coin gives me losses and gives me a hard time to gain it all back, that is why i now trade with coins that has a good value. I am talking here that token or coin already listing in exchanges.
And not tokens exchanges such as BNB.

For me i will only buy new coin/token if ieo was concluded to top exchanger like binance, to be sure it is not useless, i will also buy new coin/token if it is usable in real world like CRO, but if your intention is just to trade i will not buy new coins/tokens, but if you really want that make sure you will only buy digital asset with high volume, just remember that there is always a risk in buying crypto currency, do your own research and choose the best one.
So all other coins that are listed on other exchanges apart from binance or huobi are crap projects? You are damn wrong pal, many good projects are listed on other exchanges as well all you need is better research

Maybe because we admire their plan for their project and we think that it is unique and have a great potential that someday, somehow it will pump too high and we will be rich because we believe on them. But I am not investing on new projects this year because I am waiting for a good project that will satisfy my standards and I can see the potentials on it. I am talking here that token or coin already listing in exchanges.

Good point there pal, now that most coins are cheap its better to go for those with low max supply like millions because once market start growing green they will rise quickly, atomic wallet is not bad

Not buying to trade but buying for long term hold, many new projects takes years to reach a milestone so its nothing to worry about on my own watch, i just make sure the coins are worth holding

The primary reason why crypto-currency enthusiast/investors is buying some new coins/tokens in the market is just because they are hoping that in one day it might be experience a price boost and earn a profit out of it. In short everyone is just speculating in the new coins/tokens that's why they bought it for the first place. while in trading its different since you are not holding those coins/tokens for a long period of time because you are just waiting your target price and then you can sell it at any moment.
Exactly. Simply because they want to take the risk that someday this new coin or token they bought will be successful as Bitcoin, Ethereum etc become. Personally, I tried it before, I used to buy a coin that would I think will give me a huge profit and this really became trend way back 2017 let say some of the coins manage to make a name. However, as the bearish market arrives it's been hard for other coins to pull through that is why I leave it for a moment and prioritized the top-ranked coins since it has a high chance of getting a return. This is one of the reason why crypto projects are not last long right now because new projects is coming almost every day and the investors are just coming for quick profits and will move to another projects in days. So the previous projects will collapse and price drops to zero.
