There's no need to fear a cashless society, if you are holding Bitcoin that is. Bitcoin will explode in value once people realize the importance of it the harsh way. Everyone that didn't instruct him/herself to learn Bitcoin and buy when it was cheap (in other words now) will be rendered an idiot once the value of Bitcoin is understood as the only way to bypass government totalitarian control. It's then when we will see Bitcoin skyrocket to millions of dollars a coin.

This is correct only if the assumption of the large scale of buy orders on the exchange.

It could go the other way around where in a cashless society people still on the opposite end where they feel theres no difference between a credit card so that needs to argue at some point.

Do you know about movie "Timeless", where there is no money, everyone works for time on their hand. When times is over, you die! People gamble with that money, transfer it between them...
Even there people found a way to trick the system. And even in cashless world we will have ways to do something. We will find how to do it, its in out human nature.
System is growing for centuries, and they invest jn army's, police, laws...everything just to keep us quiet. While we are quiet they enjoy in benefits of this world, and in manipulation of others. Power is what they are seeking for.
Its so easy to make things good, but people like comfort. People like Europe ( richest countries in world made money on people pain and suffering trough centuries, they still make money on that).

When I look around, I see that world is going in bad direction! Its never gonna be good!

Its never going to be good because we(people) are the one who making things worst, imagine if human didn't even exist, it's just dogs, lions, polar bears and other animals are here. They should probably don't make things complicated they just born do the survival of the fittest and evolve with natural selection. But here we are, humans. Who use to think complicatedly, our imagination works that's why there are so many things we already invented within a thousand years we exist. Things are so different now, and we're the one who's making it. You know why things getting worst? Because our nature is to compete and to survive(survival of the fittest) that's our nature. we are here to step others down cause we feel that we are greater. Our nature acts that we should be comfortable and by doing so, we need to compete.
When we feel danger, we fight. That's what you see in other animals too. The reason we have so many wards and we can't achieve world peace. People are taking advantage with each other, to achieve comfortability. And when the other person feel harmed, they fight.

We should fear a cashless because without cash the government can keep check of us to easy and on what we spend our money on if everything becomes digital. I think that many people would not be okay with that because we deserve some privacy.

You will still have some privacy, if you use Bitcoin correctly. Governments regulate Bitcoin on the service and exchange levels and this has nothing to do with Bitcoin. In any way, Satoshi created

Bitcoin to be pseudo anonymous... then companies saw ways to profit from it and created services on top of it, that needed to adhere to governments rules and laws. The technology did not change,

the way people use it... changed.  Wink {Cash and Bitcoin should have the same level of anonymity }

I wouldn't really fear a cashless world because there is nearly no chance of it happening considering the current layout of the economy. I'd like to (re-)introduce to you all Barter Trade System which had existed way before cash were created, and still happens now at some indigenous areas and in some modern places unknowingly.

There can't really be a cashless society that will function properly if it is implemented by people that can control where everything can go. I think Bitcoin, or some other similar system, would be the best platform for a cashless society.

Governments will not give up fiat and embrace Bitcoin, because they can control fiat, its emission and value. Banks will also not give up fiat since Bitcoin would make their business not needed. And banks buy easily governments.

So to have a fair cashless society the whole way to do politics has to change. A lot.

Bitcoin is getting more popular now around this time and that is because the world is also getting more digital and more stores are also going to accept Bitcoin so that is nice.
But the hard thing is that we have to promote it more to let them use Bitcoin as their payment method.

I wouldn't fear a cashless world. I live in a country with triple-digit inflation, I'm EXHAUSTED of carrying cash, the maximum denomination bill here is 100 Bs or the equivalent of $0.1!!!!, this means that I need 4 of these bills to be able to pay for a coca-cola can.
It's awful.

Well in case some didn't knew, Sweden was the first cashless country since past 4 or 5 months (IIRC) and they haven't suffer any problem so far and the route for other countries is surely the same, it's just the matter of when it will happen.
Just as a note, Sweden is not yet fully cashless. Still quite a ways to go. The trend is leaning towards cashless, but plenty of places still accept physical currency.

Cashless also grants governments and other parties the ability to fully monitor your cash flow. They will know how much you make from your side job tending bar, how much you spend on pornography, where you travel. Police will track those odd $20 given to the same person every Saturday afternoon, when they realize that this same person is receiving the same amount from a dozen other people at the same time. Congratulations, you are now an open book.

People would just move to using gold (and bitcoins?).
Beyond a point, the government cannot impose controls.
People will find a way around it.

You see already that the world is getting more digital and that is perfect for the most people who is already using and that would be perfect if it will be more acceptable.
Many people are also using it as their new payment method and that is perfect for the currency.

This is the worst point of the system. At this point laws can manipulate any person on the planet to do anything.

pretty much yeah, the police and armies are so powerful and the people are so sheeplike that governments can do whatever they want basically

democracy my ass, the government just does as they please.

We should fear a cashless world because there would be no point in working and going to school and stuff. We would then go to the old ways and have to life like in the prehistory.
But the people could not life that way and there just would be chaos.
Yeah it would be impossible for the people now a days to live like in the old times. The people would not know what to do and many people would steal and stuff.
The police would also disappear because they would not get paid anymore.

The cashless system is not a welcoming move for everyone. Like every reformations, it also has a negative side and a positive side.

I can talk about one negative side, is that, your each and every transaction will be logged in to a central server which will give power to your government to assess your tax and networth anytime. You can't pay less tax, every single penny will come under taxing authority's surveillance.

This cashless system will not do good to the economy as a whole, instead it will give more power to your government to control you.

A cashless world would be a whole project to setup and it will take a long time before something like that is going to happen. I think that this is going be per country because it will be impossible for the whole world to not use cash at once.
