Obviously buying cryptocurrencies for me is and investment. If I deposit $1000 in any bank they will give me return of around 7% per year, if I deposit my money with any private investment firm they may give a good return but money is always at stake. Investing in cryptocurrencies may give me a good return longtime, although its also a risky matter when there is downtrend like 2018 but still if you plan your investment with strict SL you may get more profit than banks or any investment company. Before investing one should check the project its reliability and its roadmap, investment in any shitcoin can eat all your money invested.
I believe that if you have any savings, then you need to spend part on the purchase of cryptocurrency. There are many top coins, which with the growth of the market give good X's. But the most reliable investment for money will be Bitcoin. If you want quick money, then, of course, alternative coins are what you need. And you need to buy bitcoin for the long term.
I am buying cryptocurrency because i know that i can do trading with it because the movement of the price of the cryptocurrencies are so volatile because most of them are decentralized so it means that there is nothing that regulating it so it is a free market for the traders to trade whenever and anytime they want. It is a good part time job for me.
although this is as part time job for me , i am serious with this.i am believed if i concern and focus by trading or working in bounty campaign someday i will get worthed result.maybe not now, but in next two years i will get it.i have special plan with my investment in cryptocurrency market. 
The real intention of crypto currencies to replace the centralized payment system but most of the people were buying crypto currencies for making profits or think it as an asset.
At the start it was about breaking free from the banking system but the monetary incentive was always there. We live in a harsh world and money is needed in our modern society so I don't blame people that are only using bitcoin as a speculative asset.

I guess that everyone, although supporting the technology or a specific project, will be definitely looking for a profit outcome from their investment... this is nothing bad... it is just a natural fact...

In my case, I am in love with crypto for the evolution it might represent, for the power to change the world, for the opportunities that it gives to everyone, and of course, for the opportunity to make enough money to stop being just a slave of the fiat system

We mostly buy crypto with the desire to be rich in the future. Very few people buy it just because of great technology. Because very few people can understand blockchain technology and it takes time to simplify things.
And we still have the opportunity to get rich now. The value of altcoins is still quite cheap after many price increases. And with purchasing power increasing over time as it is now, the ETH or BTC will also generate profits of up to 30% at the end of Q3.

Yeah crypto currency is the best thing I have ever seen it can make our future and it can help us to get our from so many problems, crypto currency is new technology which is being use by so many people who can make good future with help of crypto currency, we can use it to buy goods, we can make investments we can save it for our bad days of future.
I only go with BTC, LTC, ETH. Everything else will be exchanged to one of them. Dont need the risk of losing too much with unstable coins these days.
I purchase cryptocurrency mainly as an investment but as I am a visionaire I always get more involved in what I invest. If I find a project that I consider it is worth my time and money I will go through fire and stone for it because I have a strong due dilligence process so I assess every investment thoroughly.
I definitely believe in the technology. But investment and speculation is something which made me come in cryptos. I have been reading about cryptos since 2011. But didnt become active until quite late. I do regret no investing 2011 but I have has my share of profits from cryptos and this is most important reason for me staying here until more utility kicks in..

Many people say that they are in for technology. But maximum of them doesn't even care about the technology. They are more into quick profits and high roi the crypto has to offer. Human is greedy. Right now if not all, at least 90% are here for roi. cryptocurrency will bring new technology and solution in future in any field.and most people spend their time in this world due to they want to get benefit while its already completely developted.for example for bitcoin price at this moment around $5300, and while bitcoin developers give new update that will be the solution for digital payment its price will be more than $5300 again.

I actually am very passionate about the technology, but of course, I look at it now as my livelihood and long term investment plan as well. I am living on the Blockchain now for the last three years, and despite 2018 and early 2019 being quite catastrophic times for me, I still can't shift my love away from the Blockchain. We are on the cusp of something great, AI technology and Blockchain technology have kickstarted the SMART revolution and being the age I am, fifty-three years old, I can really appreciate the changes that are happening at a fast pace in our world, hopefully for the better. I am primarily an investor I would say but also heavily support the technology behind it, couldn't invest in it otherwise.
