any way to get this miner to solo mine with the http://address, with a local wallet ?
unfortunately no, this miner doesn't support SOLO mining as any other closed source miner.

does it have to be a winzip zip file??
Please specify your question with more details. Miner compressed with 7z, so you need to have it for unpacking.

on veil i get 13mhs on a saphire rx480  8 gb with monitor turned of.. sometimes goes to 16 but thats still only about 3 coins a day woop de doo.

im still waiting for the new MBC 400th/s lol
How do you do it? Driver version? And what pool do you have?
I have RX 480 8Gb, hashrate  only 8 mh/s, driver 18.5.2, 1200 gpu, memory 2100, Win7, wildrig 0.15.03
Pool veil.coinblockers.com about 1veil/day.

hi just use latest driver ,and make sure your in compute mode , there is a compute mode switcher just download it and check, make sure amd setting are on performance mode tray icon , enable large page files seems to help make sure swap file is big seems to help , you should get 16mhs easy ,i have flashed bios to a mining bios maybe you should find a mining bios for your gpu does help , and i dont overclock the gpu i just leave it how bios sets it .hope that helps.
I have windows 7, as you know compute mode does not work.
I realized, on Windows 10, the hashrate is higher because of the drivers and this compute mode.
On Windows 7, driver permutations are useless, there will be no increase in the hashrate.
It remains to wait for a new miner optimized specifically for AMD video cards.

sorry but you got to download comput switcher for it to work in windows 7 and yes it does work in windows 7 FACT.

Hi i have win 10 and the speed is the same 8-9 mh/s on rx 580 with compute mode, so don't belive this guy, google it and u will see speed 9 mh/s on rx 580 Wink

Has anyone tried amd memory tweak with this miner?
I didn’t even try to use this memory tweak because it was when using this miner that I watched the termination of some cards due to memory overclocking.
Everything returned to normal after lowering the acceleration, but with such parameters these cards worked fine on other miners. But in general - an excellent and stable miner, thanks a lot to the developer!

I have very strange question. Does anybody get absolutely horrible clicking ticking noise from rx580 when using this miner ?
x16 algo

Every card have such noises, some more, some less. It also depends on the work/algo. There are algos outthere with heavy tickings, but usually the ambient noise is higher, so you never realize them if you dont put your ear to the cards. So dont worry about.

Algo is very core intensive, so your VRM/condensator/etc. can produce some noise if quality of videocard is not good. Also check your PSU.

Instead of getting stable around 8.9 MHz it fluctuates between 6 MHz to 10MHz. Is it supposed to be like this?
This is ok, yes, if you saying about x16 family algorithms. Each new job you can see "hash order" string. In that string you can see green, yellow and red shortened names of hash functions need to be executed. More red and yellow you have - less hashrate will be, more green - higher hashrate. If you read first post, I mentioned there that 8MH/s is for specific hash order, where all possible hash functions executed only once, which is rare situation, but something like average value.
