If bitcoin halving occurs and makes the price of bitcoin rise, then altcoins will also go up in price. Because of the movement of the price
of altcoins will follow the bitcoin price movements. It means that the bearish market has ended in 2020. Let us all welcome the bullish
market in 2020, which I expect will last until 2021. I am very optimistic about predictions that in 2020 the bearish market will end.

I believe that with the halving event there is definitely a pump for bitcoin and other altcoins and I look at the history before the first halving, and with this halving will show even greater pumping because market demand is increasing.
2020 will be the best moment and the real bullrun will come and don't expect to be bearish again.
Stay positive.
halving is awaited moment for profit but can't be ascertained in 2020 although the trend may occur but we still can't sure bullrun in 2020 ,hopefully the bearish season will end soon in this stagnant condition so that is a bullrun pump on the crypto market sure occurs if this conditions for the end of year there are positive movements

We all are aware of bitcoin halving and most of the users are discussing about a possible bitcoin pump post halving which might or not not give pump to the value of altcoins. So do you think halving will provide openings for altcoins with a pump or altcoins will continue to be bearish in 2020?

I dont think that the bitcoin halving will have a change in store for altcoins.  Honestly I think that the price for halving is already baked into the bitcoin price.  We could very well just have a sideways bitcoin year which would probably make alts stagnate as well.  I think 2021 is the year when the low bitcoin block reward will have effect on price and if enough new money comes in, we see a significant rise throughout crypto

it's likely to be still bearish but that's only in the early 2020, after the halving happened I'm sure price increases began slowly. well, for altcoin I'm sure will follow the conditions of bitcoin, it's just that it might be a little late because many investors and traders will focus on bitcoin first.
It can still be bearish as long as there are no news or event that will break this season. But news this days are also hard to believe with, let's just hope that the market will soon to recover as many hopes to experience another bull run that we were unable to experience for quite long. A pump in bitcoin as halving approaching can be seen but I doubt if it will be available in some other popular altcoins.

We can expect everything may happen, it may pump some alts in the market and bearish market may remains in the 2020 market because halving is not an assurance for us to expect the market of btc and alts to go in bull and hit the ATH again. Everything may happen let us observe and make the best decision in the market condition.

We can hope for the best from coin halving event. Last time coin halving happened in mid of 2016 and we saw massive bull run after 1.5 years of that halving. I dont think 2017 bull run has any relation with 2016 coin halving. Let's hope this coin halving bring smiles on all of our faces.

let us not ruined the Halving season.

for me there will be more than pump for altcoins but it will only for those have a good project and has uniqueness .

people here are tired of copy paste and nothing brings the investors but failure.

so for me?bear is for the shitcoins but bull is from the legit currencies.

With the halving coming up and the news articles about to come out about 100% gains this year, I really think people are going to start coming back into the market. This will of course bring more people in to the altcoin markets as well. Whenever people buy Bitcoins, they have the funds available to trade a little bit of that Bitcoin for other altcoins to diversify a little bit. This will help the altcoin market and turn it bullish also. There's no guarantees, but if past trends hold true, this is probably what's going to happen.

Yeah the hype of the halving should bring back that old investors whose already leaving to cameback because of the promising demand from the people and the supply will be more limited since the block after the halving is cutted to half. I'm sure the beginning of the crypto rising will start next year and crypto will go to the top again.

Bear market really gives us a hard time because of its long dominance but next year the fate of crypto market is still uncertain we might see it rise or still the opposite. So we cannot conclude anything in this type of economy, its always for the market to decide.

I don't put a lot of expectation to the halving and just try to remind you about the fact that if halving will not give a huge impact especially in the short term run of bitcoin. At least that can affect the market but it's not about giving a big pump that makes the price of bitcoin becomes doubled.
let's see the litecoin as an experiemental coin of bitcoin and that has served the real result about what already happened after the hype for the halving has gone.
It will not be the bearish trend but just try to remind halving can bring a little pump.

Obviously bear market took too long. Most of altcoins have been falling recently, and this has to be broken somewhere. If halving expected for next year affects BTC, it may be possible to affect altcoins as well. Actually, there was an increase in prices at the beginning of this year, but this increase resulted in a price drop again. That is why I believe another wave will come.

Let's think of it that it would not go as positive as bitcoin so our expectations with altcoins wouldn't be that much.
It wont come to an instant because it's gonna come gradually just like what we have seen.
In the end, think of bearish 2020 so if it will become bullish, you'll be surprise and ever be thankful.

i dont think that 2020 will be bearish
but why are you saying "also"?
the first half of 2019 was pretty bullish, people made x5 on many alts and x3 on BTC

Based on the last halving, Bitcoin always gets pump after halving happened
halving would happen in 2020 so it wouldn't be bearish anymore

when Bitcoin is pump, altcoin will follow it
But, I think not all altcoin can follow, just the good one

It depends because no one can really predict out on what would be the future.Halving might trigger out bullish movement or not into those particular days ahead
but if we do talk about chances then we might able to see or believe that it would happen but not an assurance though but usually if btc halving do takes place
there would be a significant effect on the price specially if its being hyped up by the community.Hopefully we wont see another bearish year on next one.

I don't think 2020 will be bearish, no. 2017 was insanely bullish, particularly at the end... then came the bearish aftermath, which we are still recovering from. The market is not overheated at the moment. Confidence seems to be slowly returning, as we have seen in the bitcoin rise over the last couple of days, so I would think that 2020 should see a return to a more optimistic outlook, and then hopefully to more bullish price movement.

It may or it may not! That will depends on the current news and updates during that month or during the year though, see, for the past year and this year it was different, when btc pumps alts will not follow but when btc dumps alts will dump as well. So basically, it really depends on the current trend but a wise investor or trader won't lose that much even in bear market if you will do wise decision in holding alts.
