They will survive, in any case. Simply because people need altcoins and crypto currency. While investors can make money on the growth and fall of the currency, everything will remain the same
The altcoin will survive in many years even the bitcoin continuing high in value perhaps altcoins also, altcoins has their own characteristic to make their value higher like bitcoin in time.

I think that this will not be the case. Bitcoin cant make altcoin decline and vice versa. Both of this are competitor but it can't gaurante their survival because of an event like this.

I strongly think that many altcoins will survive. This altcoins are coins which gives better product and in line with its true project purpose. Not only a coin used trading but also for its internal use.
As an altcoin collector myself I am confident that altcoins that have strong following and has good technology will not falter and will not be swayed by any external factors that would affect altcoins. If bitcoin falters then altcoins will falter too.

Not for bad altcoins, they will disappear and become less valuable in the crypto market. bitcoin greatly affects altcoins, if altcoins developers arent serious in the project then their efforts will be useless and for us traders are advised to avoid coins like this
