I think there will be many altcoins die since everyday we can find a new project in the bounties section, only the good project can survive. A bad project can't even go to exchange. The key to survive is to have a good volume, if an altcoins doesn't have volume then it can't survive.
for sure it will, i certainly believe that the whole crypto industry will do good this year. Those FUD and uncertainties are part of it's maturity, no market in this world are always on the uptrend. As you observe the market is down because of the regulations of big countries who pioneered this industry, imagine when all of them finish their regulation for sure there will be a difference. I am saying big differences which will be resulting to new all time highs. So Just be patient time will come and let's celebrate after.
If Bitcoin always increases then auto altcoin will also increase.
I have confidence that Altcoin will survive in the Cryptocurrency market because there will be demand for Altcoin.

I believe that most of the altcoins will disappear due the fact that they do not have a real working project or platform that could help them to run the project. There will remain just the strongest ones
As I have said many times, that the market of altcoins will not go anywhere, it is an integral part of the entire crypto world, that's why it's impossible to survive without it, to agree with everyone who is at least familiar with crypto-currencies.
Of course, altcoin will survive in a couple of days Because too many companies launch his project with altcoin and day by day its value increases so it is no doubt to survive altcoin. if you follow the USA website making history that makes in one hour around hundred websites create as like altcoin related website so you can carry on with your altcoin related business.
Alt will survive if there is still a lot of demand on them. Lots of Altcoins has great Potential in the near future.
2018 is the year of the airdrop so I think altcoin will be fine
The year of airdrop was 2017, to be more precise, the 4th quarter of 2017. If we talk about 2018, this is the year of ICO lotteries (since to participate in the ICO it is necessary to win something or perform certain tasks of the qualifying round) 
Im not trying to saying that all altcoin will be die, as long as they do not deliver the benefit for mass people, ease to use, have a value to be distributed, Im pretty sure, they wont be long in this crypto realm. Long live bitcoin!

Altcoins are more useful compared to bitcoin. You cant use bitcoins for a lot of things and a lot of altcoins substitute bitcoin. For example bitcoin isn't cheap enough to be used for social media tipping or for buying weed but altcoins like REDDcoin and GRMD substitute bitcoin there.

This is an old thread and yes Altcoins will survive depend upon the support by developers,technology,community adoption rate.If these features are possess by an altcoin then definitely that will survive otherwise will no longer exist in coinmarketcap.Many shit coins have already disappeared during long dip period.
Of course alt coins will survive if bitcoin survives. everybody should understand that there is direct relation with bitcoin and altcoins. Altcoin has its own market and fans so it will survive and alt-coin prices also some of them have high and stable prices like eth 
I think there is sufficient space in this ecosystem for several altcoins to exist - especially those altcoins which actually bring something valuable. The useless ones are only useful for short term profits.

Only the strongest of altcoins will survive, the rest will be forgotten and they will be removed from the normal exchanges.
I am sure that stable and potential altcoin will survive in crypto even if the price of bitcoin rise higher than theirs because they are alternative coin t cover up for loss and also increase profit. It may take time for them to be like bitcoin but there are some that have more advanced features than bitcoin and this will help them remain stable.
Of course, altcoins will survive. If you have ever noticed, altcoins such as ethereum and ripple have shown better progress compared to Bitcoin. you could make a visit to any one of the crypto news sites to know more.
altcoins always survive. Maybe 3 years later we will use altcoins when we shopping grocery or buy car. I hope new ICOs will be more creative and they will process fast. Because some project has too long process time.
