There are altkins that are more useful for our daily life, if I think about the future, it will be tokens for the mobile industry. Smartphones are like a pocket laptop, which we all use wherever we go.
Maybe not all, but i think there is very strong altcoin that maybe somday will surpass the lead of bitcoin, like ethereum or else.
Perhaps in the near future there will be no concept of altcoin. All the leading coins will consist of them when the flagship is pushed into the background.
there was a time when Yahoo was the god of Google. Look what happened now. Bitcoin needs to keep up to date with the technology and the needs of the people. If any other Altcoins can meet the people demands, then they will survive like a boss.
Coins that survive is the coins who has a platform or product, other else its only pump and dump coins. We will see that peoples start looking at crypto and investing more in crypto.
Well altcoins alive has always been , nothing critical ever happens to them and now , of course the drawdown now , but all will be restored
it's totally ridiculous to say that for every subcube. many project tokens are much ahead of their projects. and many things that are not completed and unknown to people are condemned to die in these market conditions. for that reason, the solid foundation and strong team and strong advisors, and many important projects that support it will somehow save themselves in the future. but it is not possible to say the same for other projects. it looks like we will observe it closely in the coming days. we can witness which projects are standing and which projects have been die.
Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins
Altcoins ? I don’t think so. Just potential coins can survive. Coins that can’t give us profit will be rejected and resign this market for better coins.
I don't see most of them going to survive for long. Of course, as long as they are very useful in and have a demand. But most of them, in my opinion, is badly made just for profit!
This is the FUDD behind all the Altcoin that almost all users of Altcoin and even the Bitcoin users also feel. Evolving of Bitcoin has gone already almost 10 years with this feeling.
Altcoi will sure continue to be in existence. Inasmuch as we still have bitcoin, altcoin will continue to exist. My though also on this is that, if we do not have altcoins again, crypto world will no more be interesting. So, no altcooins , no crypto.
The crypto space has truly revealed that this year 2018 is the year of altcoins. Whoever wants to make it fast this year or succeed should invest into altcoins most and good altcoins in particular.
I believe in the future some of the altcoin will not survive, they will die a natural death because they have no real use case for their product, so as time goes on, their values will reduce on the exchanges and it will be de-listed.
Valuable altcoins deserve to live, but in this market, shitcoins are everywhere that makes me sick. In this kind of bear market, it is wise to get some airdrops, recently, Privcy is a very good choice!

Probably most if the bitcoin price is higher, altcoin will likely decrease, but there are some altcoins that increase if market demand increases.
So I think altcoin will be able to and continue to survive and still worth to invest.

some alt coin will and another will die , every alt coin have their unique and that make the price for that alt coin , if people need it , the alt coin will survive even btc get higher . also its depend on the community behind that coin ,
i have some example that coin without any backup from their community and become dead coin maybe ,
like : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/okcash/ , no backup from 20k satoshi till now just 1k satoshi , i think people lost demand to this coin

A lot of altcoins will end up dying in the long term because they do not have any products that they offer to their investors so slowly but surely, support for such coins will start to die out once investors see that the coins cannot be used for anything other than trading and they will move on to better coins

I am sure altcoins will survive but of course on the legit ones. The digital currency market is crowded right now of many coins, whereas other coins / tokens / ICO it's just a hype or scammer. So checking the whitepaper or background of the company is really important when it comes to investing because of its higher risk.
not all of them but the major ones and the ones with strong community and investors are going to stay alive for sure. because blockchain technology is still new and is going to keep growing with good projects.
