If the price of Bitcoin rises, of course altcoin price will also rise. Since many people will find it difficult to buy very high bitcoin prices, automatic altcoin is the main way to make bigger profits.
Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins
with Bitcoin continuing to attack forward. I am sure for Altcoin will try hard to survive and improve their position. besides that with Altcoin that has the potential to continue to increase will be very able to compete with the Bitcoin is so strong. Maintaining a hold position is not easy to let alone maintain Altcoin with Bitcoin attack. but I'm sure Altcoin can penetrate it.

I think that it depends on kind of Altcoin
Altcoi will sure continue to be in existence. Inasmuch as we still have bitcoin, altcoin will continue to exist. My though also on this is that, if we do not have altcoins again, crypto world will no more be interesting. So, no altcooins , no crypto.
The survivavility of a coin will surely depend on the team behind it and the goals and vision of it. No matter how promising the coin would be if the team just minds the profit it will surely go down and die.
There's nothing to be afraid of, and I'm relaxed for now, don't feeling tempted to sell all my altcoins
There's a lot of unnecessary altcoins, and these trashes are being thrown as time goes on.

No need to worry about this. Altcoins are the components of the crypto-currency market. Of course, we see a clear dominance of bitcoin, but among others, crypto-currencies also have very promising and good ones, so there is no cause for concern.
The altcoin will survive in many years even the bitcoin continuing high in value perhaps altcoins also, altcoins has their own characteristic to make their value higher like bitcoin in time.

Altcoins would be find because honestly they better than bitcoin but not that expencive because people don't care about benefits of altcoins. Only price matter nowadays.
As practice shows, prices for altcoin vary depending on the price of bitcoins. Since the price bitcoin is high enough, many prefer to buy an altokon. They often give good growth. Altcoin will live people are interested.
Most altcoins will disappear when bitokoin will support smart contracts and private payments. But unique projects will not go anywhere.
Altcoins will survive simply as long as there is demand for them. Not to mention usually(but not always) other coin's prices go up and down along with bitcoin's price. Also take note that most coins aren't even competitors of bitcoin. Most coins have their own use-cases; not every cryptocurrency is made as a payment system or a store of value.
OP is right. Alt coins will keep on going as long as there is someone buying one. The thing is, there is always a demand for these things just like bitcoins. I agree with what is stated above that not all cryptocurrency are used for trading and are valued like the rest of them.
Of course! Altcoins are very important and the year 2018 is the year of altcoyins. Now the dominance of bitcoin is declining every day, which means that there are more and more strong coins that can compete!
Many of them won't but as long as there is a demand for, they will keep rising simply and people will make more and more profit.
