I think no one can take the bitcoin crown. There may be other major currencies, some are already prefigured, but bitcoin is something special.

Even tough there are lot of alt coins out there, people will always remember that without bitcoin none of the could eventually exist. Even there are crypto that could surpasses the price of bitcoin (which i think is impossible at the moment) still people will honor bitcoin and see it as the king of all the crypto no matter what happened.
You are right that no one would take off the crown since bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency that has been created, but if most of the investors will focus on a different coin then there is a huge chance for another altcoin to rise above bitcoin.

it's possible, but not for the near future. bitcoin is still a long journey to the top of glory. altcoin / token which I think is most potential is ethereum, but we never know whether the ethereum will take the bitcoin position. stop to just predict, do not think when the price is down then it will be destroyed. let bitcoin find its identity, and as a bitcoin community, we are obliged to fight for the future of bitcoin.

For me the value of bitcoin will not decrease from other coin value, try to pay attention in terms of its value in the market. And if the coin or altcoin it will replace bitcoin. The future no one knows where bitcoin will fall or be defeated by another coin, but in my opinion in the near future no one can beat this oldest crypto, be it ethereal or bitcoin cash.
