Actually a very good question. What will happen to Bitcoin when all Bitcoins are geminted?
If the crown belongs to the highest marketcap, then yes, we will see other cryptocurrencies take the crown every once in a while.

it may be, but not for the next 5 years because Bitcoin still has advantages that other coins do not have, I believe someday bitcoin will be overthrown. 
I don't think that is going to happen. Look at the price of the various alts on the market now, it seems nothing can survive without Bitcoin.

In my opinion there is no other coin to take the crown because in my knowledge bitcoin is the only coin for take the crown and the king of all coins and the rate of this coin is very much right in the market and is the future coin in this industry and the market is slow in this time.
For now, I think that no other altcoin can take the crown of the bitcoin ,this is because the bitcoin has already establish its name in the cryptoworld that is why bitcoin is so familiar and popular around the world ,bitcoin is really on top of the market coin index, with a high price value among all altcoins in the market today.
I still think optimistically that bitcoin will remain as the crypto currency with the highest asset value. and even if there is another crypto that has an ever-increasing price movement, I think the other crypto will only be the tail of the bitcoin price movement.

But eventhough the price is loosen no other cryptocurrency like eth and lite coin reach its price. Even the ethereum,but who knows, ethereum is doing great in this days. well it is not impossible for that to happen, but i think it will take a lot of years for them to reach the level of bitcoin, because bitcoin is the most well established coin out there
As the market continues to grow & expand, I think its feasible to anticipate that another coin could surpass BTC for market dominance at some point down the road. I do feel that's still a long way away though.

Everything is possible especially in the crypto world but for another coin to replace the position if Bitcoin seems quite impossible for now. In terms of competition, one coin that can be compared to Bitcoin is Ethereum. Even with this direct competition Ethereum has with Bitcoin, Bitcoin seems to be far ahead in terms of market capitalization which is about 2.5 times higher than Ethereum.
Almost all the existing projects are technically better than bitcoins, but he is the symbol on which the whole crypto world is based and the most recognized reserve of value. From this point of view I don't see any competitor.
I do not think that any other coin can become a leader in the cryptocurrency market. bitcoin will always be the first coin.
