I just woke up this morning and saw the recent price of bitcoin and its really alarming high! so i wanted to know, could there ever be a crypto that surpasses the mighty Bitcoin??
No one can defeat bitcoin becausee theres a lot of cryptocurtency need to convert in btc so thats why the valueof bitcoin is still pumping i think bitcoin will become more popular because the bitcoin price is so very high.

it has already happened. there currently are 5 shitcoins which have higher price than bitcoin.
trading volume?
it also has happened before, but none of them could sustain it.
market cap?
that also has happened. they just simply create shitloads of their shitcoin and shit*shit becomes a bigger market cap number
number of daily transactions?
i have not yet seen any, but it is possible. and again they are not going to be able to sustain it. things like trading volume, transaction volume,... only go up during the pumps.

The best answer I can come up with is, "maybe". But I will tell you something though, the cryptocurrency that might replace Bitcoin will not be Bitcoin Cash.
