Bitcoin's price is flying and rising with rocket speed.. i think bitcoin will survive always as the leader while it may have competitor but i think bitcoin is the most expensive and most well-known coin in crypto currencies. So it will stay as it is..
With the bitcoin becoming more expensive and harder to mine, people who are new to it find it very difficult to get their hands on it, especially if they don’t have the money for it, so their option is to switch to other crypto currencies and try to mine those and then hopefully exchange them into bitcoin, but that does not mean that they will replace bitcoin.

I agree to you , Bitcoin will be famous if new altcoins was launch. We use bitcoins to trade altcoins. On exchange bitcoin is the most picked currency that is used on trading altcoins there. The bitcoin ecosystem still have a limitation.
This will be different if we have looked about the future of the crypto nation.

I doubt it'll be replaced. The most I'm guessing that will happen would be inflation in the market, and some other cryptocurrency rise above the value of bitcoins for the time being, but bitcoins would still take 1st place on the average in terms of value
The future is certainly beyond our control, time will come and if that happens I believe Ethereum will take place as the top Altcoins to replace bitcoin as IMO it's the most population altcoin now. I even invest now since the price is very low and I have witnessed it has gone up BTC0.03 +. Ethereum is a clear opposite of bitcoin, as when the price of bitcoin increases ETH drops, so the failure of bitcoin will be its success.

I don't think this will happen, to be honest. It is possible that cryptos with significant improvements may arise, allowing faster transactions, anonymous transactions among other improvements... but I think it will be difficult for them to reach the level of decentralization and the network effect of Bitcoin.
In addition, this will depend on whether or not such improvements can be implemented in Bitcoin.

It is interesting, if you asked this 2 years ago at the top of the GAW hype when they were selling actual machines and had a very very large customer base, I would of said a coin developed for mining at that time by GAW may of rivalled BTC. However I say now no coin will rival it, to many next best coins have turned out to be scams.
I think untill 2050, Bitcoin will not be replaced by any other crypto currency.Reputation of Bitcoin is very good compared to any other crypto coin.Eve if any other altcoin replaces Bitcoin, Bitcoin will still be existing in the market.

There is definitely an opportunity for another coin to come in and compete as a daily use currency.
I think one of the main problems is that a lot of the new comers to bitcoin don't really care too much about the privacy features that bitcoin offer, most of the newbies just see it as a new bank i think.
Altcoins arent a copy cat of bitcoin, otherwise they would have a good value, most of the altcoins has less problems to handle then bitcoin, but the question is that bitcoin were the first, and is getting massive investment, from big miners, as well investors, soo those people wont let bitcoin die from one moment to another. It will be funny to see what will happen with all the miners bought to mine bitcoin when there wont be any new block to mine, but those are questions i doubt i will be alive to see.
99% chance that bitcoin will be the master in cybercoin space, because of the wide adoption and big interests already established that it is virtually impossible to change. That 1% could come with some really fatal issues which is not very probable.
Unless some kind of hole is found in the code or in the encryption protocol bitcoin will keep being the top cryptocurrency to use, some coins are very interesting like monero but bitcoin has a massive advantage already that is difficult to overcome.I've been looking at that monero all the time but upon reading the news that it was involve to a exit scam in the dark net I stopped, I lose my interest on it already. As of now, I can't see that bitcoin will ever be replaced by some of any crypto currency because almost all of those alt coins came from very the same idea of bitcoin.
They just get ideas on bitcoin like the security features and they will try to change some of it and try to show to people that they are different but the real thing is they didn't.
Not really, Bitcoin will be bitcoin and bitcoin will be the mother of them all. There is no chance of getting replaced by another crypto-currency because we can see the progress of bitcoin on its price and it seems that there is no chance to be replaced.
If another crypto-currency will replaced bitcoin and i can say that it will be a long time before it happens maybe if the bitcoin supply will be out of stock or the bitcoin network will be worse then it would force other investors to move to another coin that satisfied their needs.

It won't be replaced, but Monero will probably start an interesting rally with it. We're looking at a very big increase in such a short time: 25% in one day. A few months ago it had reached 0.02BTC. I'm wondering whether the price will get close to Bitcoin or not soon - especially with February coming, when a huge black market will be opened again for Monero after it's been closed this autumn!

Everything will change even if it is Bitcoin. Since the world started, many currencies have been created and have been replaced by another one. Bitcoin is the first digital currency so that it is being used by many people. However, in the future, many new cryptos will be made which will be more effective and more secure. Right now, Bitcoin have many dangerous competition such as etherium, zcash Zcash is very historical its the most hyped coins in the history of cryptocurrency. It hyped at 200btc each then go down at 6 btc then go down more to 0.04 btc. Its not stable. Ethereum on the other hand is a good coin but it split into two ethereum and ethereum classic. This two coins cannot replace bitcoin. At this point of time no coin can replace bitcoin, but if there is I will vote for monero since it is very similar to bitcoin and Pesobit because I love it.
The volume at 2000 bitcoin was too small. It is not very significant.
