I think in each year bitcoin will always grow in popularity, yeah it proved today many of my friends started to know and adopt bitcoin bitcoin? but I think for a period of 6 years up to 2022, I do not think that users will encompass all mankind? perhaps just a few percent

yeah, a lot of people will not be using their bitcoins then i think but either way there will be way more people into bitcoin i think

yeah of course in the future will become increasingly popular bitcoin you can see today that they continue to grow and adoption period continues to run I'm sure every year bitcoin will have more users. agree I also do not think that bitcoin will have users up to the whole person

I agree it will be not used by everyone in 2022 but i will just say that it is possible that almost of the 1/4 or 1/8 of the population will be using bitcoin on that year but not really all. Because the community of bitcoin is getting popular every year so lets hope it will happen Cheesy

Yeah bitcoin is gaining popularity day by day and we are also seeing increase in the users of bitcoin, so we can expect higher user base in next 6 years which will also help in taking price higher.

I agree it will be not used by everyone in 2022 but i will just say that it is possible that almost of the 1/4 or 1/8 of the population will be using bitcoin on that year but not really all. Because the community of bitcoin is getting popular every year so lets hope it will happen Cheesy

There is no way to tell what's going to happen but I'm pretty sure bitcoin isn't going to completely destroy fiat.
There's too many powerful people in the world for this to even happen. Bitcoin will gain alot of users though and it might see a big push but it sadly won't be number 1 atleast that's my guess. Would be great if it did happen though!

Just the idea of a higher adoption rate will make people hoard Bitcoin like there is no tomorrow. People are still in the state of Bitcoin is an investment, instead of a currency tool. There are several threads in this forum where people say "I use Bitcoin as currency for this and that" but how many of them are making it up just to increase their post count? I think a lot. Especially the lower ranked members. Their main priority is to collect as many coins as possible and to convert them to their local fiat currency.

You mean it could be possible but not so soon, maybe after a 100 years or so right? The same thing I have in mind that it will not be likely that almost everyone will use it. It is only 6 years from now and yet many people are still not into technology. Some part of the world still do not have electricity and maybe have not use computers or any device. It would be hard to assume that in just 6 years everyone will be familiar with bitcoins. It could be like a 50 years or more.

It will never be possible that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system, bitcoin cannot succeed without fiat as bitcoin is solely dependent on fiat. There is no governing law that controls bitcoin so it will never replace fiat on that fact, everyone might use it but just a means to transact online and they will still cash our their bitcoin into fiat.

Yes but those who dont have computer or gadgets might get the chance to have one by that time, 6 years from now life is not always as it used to be for everyone because there is always progress. i think the users of btc will increase but not everyone will be using it by that time.

I think it will still be a very minute percentage of the world that uses bitcoin by 2022. Most people probably don't even know what bitcoin is. Also, anyone without a computer or smartphone would not be able to use bitcoin anyway.

Why would governments make paper currency ? If fiat money is "destroyed" by bitcoin, it just means that it's esier to use bitcoin so there is no reason to create another paper currency. And why would people go into bitcoin banks since they can be their own bank ? :/
