I think bitcoin will be the world's reserve currency in the future. Maybe you do not know in the East Asian countries now bitcoin are very popular. That is a good signal.

in my opinion it could be that it's just a matter of time and approval from the government to act in fact gold and precious metals can be invested automatically if you can invest or make a backup. Bitcoin must be able to be like a precious metal almost like

Bitcoin has reduced the use of physical paper money and is much more convenient. However, paper money still has unique feature that such a digital money like Bitcoin fail to satisfy. The national currency of a nation is not only a method of payment, but also the face of that nation, because the national currency reflects how strong the economy of that nation is. So Bitcoin can't replace the USD at that point.

Do you think Bitcoin will become the reserve currency of the world sometime in the future?

No, I don't think Bitcoin will become the world's reserve currency. Because there have many facts of course. Bitcoin is popular but not enough familiar with every people of the world. Bitcoin has volatility nature, anytime its price can go very high or low, no one has bitcoin's control. Bitcoin is not helpful for the developing country because its tax-free, World has better currency than Bitcoin. So, bitcoin can't be the reserve currency of the world.

Since most altcoins in the market today, are dependent on Bitcoin's price movements,
I agree with it, without bitcoin's good movements, altcoin will not be big! Bitcoin dominate the crypto market, that is why many people know the cryptocurrency market only for Bitcoin.

bitcoin is not popular yet and other facts you talk about (tax, volatility, etc) are all depends on time.we dont say its going to be near future, crypto is so new to world.what for this rush? it needs a time but it will happen.

Bitcoin is now accepted globally but i don't think it would be the reserve currency of the world even in the future since every government has already have their reserve currency and i don't think it could be replace by Bitcoin or any altcoin. One is for sure: Bitcoin will grow and it would be a very important part of the world's financial system.

I think future bitcoins will also become the intermediary for electronic transactions.
Their benefits are undeniable.
Blockchain technology uses chain blocks to link computers together to create a secure and highly secure network.
That is a lot of my opinion !!!

Well such a small volume to be consider as reserved of the World currency, maybe its better to say that the Cryptocurrencies,(but ofcourse those legitimate and proven coins only, not those shitcoins and scam)

What i am looking forward is every countries will create their own cryptocurrency and use them as reserve, from that maybe the possibilities that world may accept the idea

In my opinion, Bitcoin is gradually replacing the US dollar as the reserve currency of the world. But there are significant obstacles to accepting Bitcoin for daily retail and wholesale purchases and for debt settlement. So it will not happen soon until developed countries like the US; China; Russia ... accepts bitcoin transactions as legal and that is when the dollar will be replaced by bitcoin.

I guess Bitcoin can be a part of payment system as what it is now in some countries in the world. It is basically used as money too. But I can say that it can never replace the traditional and tangible money. I believe that if it happened, the billing and payment system would be more convenient. But noticing those countries who aren't into the world of cryptocurrency. I guess it is as 90% impossible and 10%possible.

Yes, bitcoin has the potential to become the reserve currency of the world. People are very keen in bitcoin usage and also are highly interested in how much high it can go from current levels.

Omicron is another FUD
i don't think so, just logic Bitcoin only circulates as many as 21 million coins and the population on earth is almost 7 billion, if we just take the average person who holds another currency other than their country's currency as much as 1 billion then the amount of Bitcoin will be less. so I don't think Bitcoin is suitable as a reserve currency, which matches Ripple or Tether (USDT)...

In fact, Bitcoin is rapidly displacing the US dollar as the world's reserve currency. But there are significant impediments to the adoption of Bitcoin for daily retail and wholesale purchases and for settlement of debt. So, it will not happen soon.

Even if that's true, if anything it's the US that's causing their own demise rather than Bitcoin itself winning. Either way I guess it's the same thing in the end. But yeah, it's not going to happen anytime soon. I'd be more worried about China in general.

Yes of course, when time ends about the real money. The bitcoin reservation will be the currency for a new world of digital. So it means the people will still have a chance to be aware of, the government will be notified for this.
I think the government certainly knows this, I'm sure they are also aware of the development of bitcoin in the world. unfortunately, now the use of bitcoin as a means of payment is still very limited. most people who have bitcoin, only hold bitcoin as an investment asset. because they are interested in the benefits that will be obtained. they do not intend to use bitcoin as a means of payment. but everything becomes possible when later bitcoin will become a legitimate digital payment instrument.

Bitcoin has still a lot to go to replace the world's USD, but either way I don't think it can replace it anyway. Bitcoin has still a lot of limitations and besides I wouldn't really want it to be the reserved currency in future. Because , we need more than a reserved currency, it's good these way, so that when one way closes, there's always other ways to go on.

As soon as big investment funds come to bitcoin, pension funds, the potential of new technologies plus mass awareness, will make state regulators recognize the need for this

Do you think Bitcoin will become the reserve currency of the world sometime in the future? I was wondering about this since Bitcoin is now a widely used cryptocurrency worldwide. Since most altcoins in the market today, are dependent on Bitcoin's price movements, it seems like Bitcoin is the reserve currency of cryptocurrencies.

However, if Bitcoin tends to become more popular each day, it could eventually take the USD's place as the reserve currency of the world. Hence, what are your thoughts about this? Will it happen or not?  Huh

Yes of course, when time ends about the real money. The bitcoin reservation will be the currency for a new world of digital. So it means the people will still have a chance to be aware of, the government will be notified for this.

Before bitcoin can accepted as a currency, we need approval from all country, and they agree to use bitcoin as the next currency in their country. And if this is happening, then bitcoin can go as the second currency or even for the main currency in every country. But we cannot see this is happening in the next year because every government still need to study more about bitcoin especially about blockchain technology (or they already did?). Maybe they want to find out the other benefits for the country and of course for their citizen.
