It will be a very lengthy process if bitcoin bring an end PayPal. Though PayPal is dealing with transfer money only while bitcoin is a digital currency and users can pay by bitcoin. As a bitcoin lover, I would like to watch bitcoin bring an end PayPal.

I don't know for what will happen later, but I think bitcoin has a great chance to be more than Paypal because we don't have to fill any documents when we want to use bitcoin. I guess that many people will love to use bitcoin because they can stay in under radar without anyone knows if that person has bitcoin and already makes a transaction. And it's different than Paypal because we need to verified when we want to use Paypal for online business, so the other people are not afraid to make a transaction with us. Besides that, we don't have to confuse if somehow our account gets freeze like what we see on Paypal and we don't have to wait too long to unfreeze the account. With bitcoin, we can get all the things that Paypal cannot give to us.

Although the original Satoshi paper mentions the BTC use in case of  buying good excluding third parties, for me it has been hard to imagine such scenario. Even tough i often hate paypal and their customer " care" i have to say that third party is something needed at least for the first time purchases to build trust.

In the spirit of mass adoption we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin? At some point people would want to feel safe in not tying their credit cards to any online payment gateway. Your thoughts?

I think bitcoins will probably live together with paypal. Some people would still use their cash to properly use their paypals to some extent. Some people, most likely millennials, would stick to the new technology like bitcoins. Both technology will live harmoniously and will definitely be competitive between each other.

Never failed of bitcoin as PayPal before because bitcoin is the way how to increase our investment and more easy for using bitcoin wallet than PayPal, many people get trouble with limited account by using PayPal because their account have been frozen by PayPal team.

I think Bitcoin can not completely replace paypal, we still have to deal with small transactions that have too much transaction fees, and no country or country accepts a bitcoin for payment.

This is a very controversial issue because I believe that these two systems can exist and develop in parallel with each other and they do not cause harm to one

I do not foresee death, because these services are very influential and powerful, and therefore they follow the trends in the financial market at the moment and think over their financial policy for the future. I most likely foresee the change and introduction of new technologies into existing payment systems, but not their complete disappearance.

I hardly doubt bitcoin will replace PayPal. PayPal helps you to make claims but with Bitcoin there's nothing like that, once a business goes bad it will only take the sincerity of the other party to refund the bitcoin.

Just the same blockchain creates the same trust. You can see what transactions were made by the person you are going to work with. This is extremely convenient, given that the person's identity remains classified. I think that so and will work all in the future - before exchanged goods, and now will do, too, most only in Internet.

That can only be determined by the adopters of bitcoin and the world because both paypal and bitcoin would serve as payment method for transactions therefore people would choose among these two which of them they prefer based on the efficiency of these two. But i am very optimistic people would prefer making payments in cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin.

my opinion bitcoin will not end paypal it's just that bitcoin will become a competitor of paypal and that might happen if bitcoin could be applied in the same concept as paypal. but paypal and bitcoin are not yet going to happen.

I do not think Pay Pal is a competitor for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is very different from fiat currency transactions. I think fiat currencies will remain.

Bitcoin is not a competitor to Paypal. Obviously the development of bitcoin and the development of Paypal are not related to each other. Paypal online transactions are often used for currency exchange and are applicable in many countries. For bitcoin trading, it is in the development stage and it is restricted in some countries. So, users will surely trust and use Paypal for their transactions.

The security of PayPal is no way comparable to that of bitcoin ,I'm not saying bitcoin is bad in that area but PayPal capabilities is huge and its way more better than any cryptocurrency for now.

Paypal people already know that their end is coming because of one or the other reasons. They could have done better in many countries but they only concentrated on USA and UK. Blockchain and Bitcoin will be the next gen payment methods.

Paypal coming December 1998 and day by day it is huge popular currency in many different sectors. Normally i treated it as a global currency because it used widely. So i do not think bitcoin bringing to end of paypal. But i respect all people thinking. Many peoples consider it as like native currency.
