I do not think Bitcoin will replace Paypal either. At the very beginning I thought this could happen ... but in time I started to realize that normal people will always see Bitcoin more like an investment than a payment system.
Why would normal people go through all the hassle of buying and storing Bitcoin and than spend it quickly with no benefit at all? (or even at a loss)
The same properties that are making Bitcoin interesting as an investment are the same one that makes it very hard to spend, I am thinking about scarcity and volatility.
And, as already said here, Paypal can offer some more service to the sellers/buyers that you will not find in Bitcoin.

It is not impossible though, but to do that buyers will need to have an incentive in order to spend Bitcoin; a big discount, a cashback or something on that line might do the trick.

Although PayPal functions are unique in the early days of the world economy, moving to new and better platforms. What do you think if we combine Crypto + PayPal? It will provide a complete buyer protection policy, unlike the PayPal market. By providing safeguards, buyers can use a more secure algorithm and bring more customers to the market.

I don't believe so - Paypal and Bitcoin, currently, are marketed at 2 different groups of people and offer two 'different' purposes. Maybe, in time, they will bump into each other and perhaps one take over the other but, the for the time being, I don't believe that Bitcoin will spell the end for Paypal

Even if this happens it will take a lot of time to happen in my opinion. I think that most of the people or buyers are already used to PayPal and thus use it for all their needs. Also, there is sufficient market for both of these to co-exist in my opinion.

in my opinion the paypal system adopts bitcoin with a system that is easy to practice and fast and it is also possible that bitcoin will run together in a system and bring success of course

Most online users have had problems with PayPal or other digital payment systems. Imagine that you are trying to withdraw money that someone has sent you, and discover you have been blocked from that service without knowing the reason. Bitcoin the first Blockchain-based billing platform, Intended to replace PayPal into a more complete transaction.

In the spirit of mass adoption we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin?

No, I think they will take the initiative, to integrate it into their services, and at the same time, PayPal will facilitate bitcoin users in their transactions, both for those who will buy or sell. So, what is needed by the user is complete. And I think this is very good for the development of bitcoin at a later stage.

not
I think Paypal is also still safe to use to save money and also to do online transactions. although bitcoin is faster, paypal is an official online transaction tool accepted by all countries.

No, I think that non-cash forms of payment, on the contrary, will only develop. Most likely, Bitcoin will also be served with bank cards and in my country it is already practiced. Bitcoin can be transferred to such a card, but it is no longer possible to withdraw it from the card. The card shows the amount in Bitcoin, although in fact it is displayed immediately by the bank. At any time, the duration of Bitcoin can be converted to another currency directly on the card and make a purchase. In principle, it is quite convenient.

it seems that it will not be possible, although maybe bitcoin will rival Paypal, in terms of regulation and system, bitcoin is still far compared to PayPal for now.
new applications on bitcoin will compete with it and possibly supplant it. but this is not the main thing, the main thing is that we will be able to use any opportunities acceptable to us and quickly make payments.

I do not think so, one of reasons people love paypal has to do with the ability to get some buyers protection, that way if the product that you ordered is not what you were expecting you can get your money back and as we know unless you are using an escrow this is not possible to do with cryptocurrencies, so if people used crypto instead of paypal there will be millions of scams.

Paypal will certainly not be replaced by bitcoin. Maybe paypal will eventually start accepting and to use crypto and bitcoins as well. Paypal and banks will certainly stay with us for a long time to come.

Pretty positive idea.
Very difficult to implement, since paypal will be against it.
But the idea is really good, safety first.

Wences Casares, CEO of Xapo cryptocurrency wallet and a member of the board of directors of PayPal, made a forecast about the cost of bitcoin in the next decade at the conference Consensus 2017, held recently in New York.

In his speech, Kazares noted that “the Internet does not have its own currency and it desperately needs it,” meaning bitcoin under this currency.

“The biggest mistake will be to buy more cryptocurrencies than you can afford to lose. It will also be a huge mistake not to buy Bitcoin at all, ”he told the audience. “Put 1% of your fortune in bitcoins and forget about it for 10 years.”

His speech also included a forecast of the cost of Bitcoin, namely, that it will reach $ 1 million in less than 10 years.

Kazares has been a technical business for a long time. As the founder of the first internet provider in Argentina, he became one of the earliest adherents of Bitcoin. Before creating the Xapo cryptocurrency wallet, he founded a retail bank in Brazil. In early 2016, Kazares joined the PayPal board of directors, and the company in turn called it “the recognized leader in the field of cryptocurrency payments”.

PayPal is purely for a transaction, and Bitcoin nowadays is mostly used as an investment. Transactions via Bitcoin is not in that much volume that it can end PayPal. Moreover, BTC is sometimes too volatile and the fees also get higher, so people will be skeptical at points and rather they would like to use PayPal, which supports payment via Credit Card as well and direct payments and instant as well.

I think that it is not yet very correct to compare these two assets. After all, Bitcoin is already actively used in calculations in a number of countries.

If Bitcoin is globally accepted, this is possible. Because of Blockchain's technology and Bitcoin's speed, security and convenience are different from bank and paypal which Paypal is ended.

Bitcoin is a currency and Paypal a payments processor. It's even more than a payment processor, search for "Paypal lab" It has some innovations there, and Paypal also owns few others companies. And since you compared BYC/Paypal: in terms of speed Paypal is the winner, security Paypal has nothing to be ashamed of, convenience Paypal is easier to use and used than BTC.

I don't think Bitcoin will kill such payment gateways. Most likely, such projects simply implement their blockchain ecosystem.
