Either way, I'm hiding in Dash 'till this blows over.  Grin

It's crazy to buy into that pump, but you can't deny it's a possibility either.

It's also worth mentioning that BTC will always have a value no matter what happens as it's the go to reserve currency. I think a flippening could be very dangerous, if we can't trust Bitcoin we can't trust anything, the whole market could become valueless if this happens. The people behind these coup attempts are playing dangerous games.

How do you think?

I think thats not possible at all. Bitcoins is bitcoin and BCH is BCH, they can't replace each other look at the current development for both of them. You say anything, but BCH stands at the position where it is called as alt coin and it will never reach that much rate at all. Im focusing my investment into bitcoin only and believe me there are more believer of bitcoin than BCH which make bitcoin more susceptible for long term investment.

Honestly, it looks like a flippening could happen today even.

Crazy, I didn't expect it but it's a possibility. Whether it's manipulation or not it can't be discounted.

I won't be on Bitcoin cash side atleast for now as it is being pumped and manipulated by some whales though the fees may be cheaper and transaction time is smaller than that of Bitcoin but still it's controlled by some centralised organisation.
LTC, ETH, XMR are all better in technology than Bitcoin cash so there is no use of it except the name Bitcoin

I don't think it will but we will get the answer once the BCH fork is over the price will stabilize for Alt-coins/BTC once the fork is done on Nov 13th hopefully.

I dont think it can replace Bitcoin, This current spike is only a "bubble" and soon will fall. This current increase is cause by massive buying at one country making it popular at one part of the world. While Bitcoin is Globally.

If the developers of the Bitcoin did not unite to fix the scaling issue it will replace Bitcoin in 6 to 8 months. Right now more and more people are dumping their Bitcoin (BTC) to buy Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Market Cap now is 40Billion and rising. Bitcoin right now is so heavy to handle Blockchain fee reaching $10 to $15.

bitcoin is irreplaceable and just because bitcoin cash goes to the moon does not mean bitcoin will be replaced. I think it's a chance to see the bitcoin fall and buy it. bitcoin cash still needs a lot to not rival bitcoin.

There is zero logic to move to Bitcoin Cash its a pure pump and dump play. BTC is the store of value. If we want fast transactions Bitcoincash isn't even a good option when you got platforms like Xtrabytes doing 10000 tps. Its a fad , it will pass.

I think I've answer a similar post a while ago. In my opinion even if Bitcoin cash is quite making a name these days it will not replace Bitcoin, not even soon. Why? Because lots of people still believes on what Bitcoin can do when it comes to digital currency. All alt coins including Bitcoin Cash will still be called alt coin and will definitely stay that way even in the future. I am not concluding that Bitcoin will stay forever though because as we all know the only constant thing in this world is CHANGE. So everything could change in just a blink of an eye without us knowing.

OK Bitcoin Cash's market volume is much more bigger, cause trading stars set the volume and the price. They want you to lose money, they want to gain money from this crisis which they created in a single day! So don't panic and try to collect more cheap, easy Bitcoins before it hits to $10000 and more...

How do you think?
It is clearly impossible. It would eventially turn up like what happened with Bitcoin gold which only on mainstream early upon getting into the market then fall after few months. No altcooin or any other crypto will replace Bitcoin because it has the biggest community. It has also the largest market value and lots of investors are into it so it won't be replaced.

I'm sorry, I am not yet familiar with bitcoin cash. Does it really exist?
As far as I know, bitcoin is a digital currency, and so if it becomes cash it will not be more consider as digital currency. And I knew that bitcoin aims to have a cashless society, in which they wanted fiat to be gone, and all people will just be using bitcoin.
Well, if it really exist, I wanted to know more about it.

Bitcoin Cash is a copy cat Alt coin with "Bitcoin" in their name. They forked from Bitcoin {BTC} and called it Bitcoin Cash.

They are riding on the code and the success of Bitcoin and it is now being used by the competitors who have split away from

BTC. They come together as a group... sold their BTC and bought Bitcoin Cash to push the price up... When other people start

buying Bitcoin Cash the price goes even higher and then they quickly sell their coins to take massive profits. This leave the

rest of the people who came in late, with the empty bag. {very low price}  Wink

you are just overly excited because it has the name "bitcoin" in it and also mostly because it is getting pumped. you see the big green number saying price has risen in the past few days and you think everything is fine because of it!

but if you wait a couple of weeks you can get your answer loud and clear. when the dumps begin shortly and then intensify in a couple of weeks, that is when price of BCH crashes and miners will abandon it. they have the EDA to protect the chain and if they remove it, the chain is screwed. the only reason why miners switch is this EDA that changes difficulty so they can mine a thousand blocks in one day!

Bitcoin cash faster and cheaper than bitcoin. The market value of bitcoin cash now is over $30 bilion and it is continuously rising
