Read this: https://cryptoslate.com/how-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrencies-are-transforming-southeast-asia/

Crypto has already begun making an impact in that region. The market there is great for crypto as more people have access to smartphones than to banking services. This in turn has increased the use of mobile payment platforms such as Linepay and Wepay and therefore hints towards the idea that a formidable crypto payment platform will be easily adopted. There is already one exchange platform called omisego that has partnered with Alipay that allows southeast asian crypto enthusiasts to transact in crypto.

We have more info on the omisego platform as well, feel free to check it out: http://[Suspicious link removed]/OmisegoGuide101

Cheers

Because to my knowledge there are several countries in southeast asia that have not legalized bitcoin. And what is our endeavor for bitcoin in southeast asia to be legal like any other country (which has legalized bitcoin).
Will the impact be positive or negative?
I think its very hard to make all country in Southeast Asia legalize bitcoin, because their have different law regarding to bitcoin. But, we can not close every possibility that might be happen. I hope after this, there will be more country that will legalize bitcoin.

Bitcoin has legalized to the major countries of he South East Asia such as Japan Thailand, Philippines and Singapore etc It is a new form of economy with the strong net work systems linked with the modern technology and the computer.Bitcoin is totally contrary to the current economic concepts in which we follow at present. Most of the economically developed countries are legalized bitcoin to operate parallel to their own national currencies. Bitcoin is so popularized world wide due to its positive features and it could attract the global investors confidence.

Here where I live I heard rumors of our government accepting and supporting bitcoin though I am not sure if it is real. Despite without clear rules or anything, some banks here have started accepting bitcoin which is quite convenient for me. I do hope more countries will start accepting bitcoin as well.

if now still elegant gan. but with the increasingly sophisticated time and development of the age. there will definitely be countries in Asia that accept bitcoin as a digital currency. officially and legitimately to be used for transactions such as paper currency

In Southeast Asia, digital money is becoming more and more popular. It has started to be widely known and used, from individuals to companies and businesses to solving everyday problems. Governments do not banned BTC, but they did not support BTC's legal circulation.
But I think it will not be a problem to obstruct the BTC in Southeast Asia. We take the time to show them that BTC is really useful.

I don't understand what you mean with "legalized", I mean, I know there are Countries that are against bitcoin but are there Countries that officially said that bitcoin is "legal"? I don't think we need this kind of confirmation to be honest.

There are some countries in southeast asia that are making bitcoin as a legal currency and recognizing it as a mode of payment for purchases and so on. Southeast asian countries are just adaptive to the opportunities that they will see and i hope that it will influence the other big countries in the world so we will have a faster progress.

countries in South East Asia should embrace these progress. Some countries decide to make it legal because they carefully studied every details of these cryptocurrencies.Crypto currencies may also use in stock market which i think has a percentage to the gross capital income. Thus,in making it legal each countries should regulate and/or create some restrictions about the use of cryptocurrencies in different transactions.

With the acceptance of some countries in Asia such as South Korea and Thailand accepting Bitcoin, there are high hopes that the remaining part of Asia will soon legalize bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

That's quite possible. Not sure when it's going to happen, but there are many factors which make me think that it's not far off. There are constant talks concerning it. There are more and more countries are accepting Bitcoin. I bet Southeast Asia doesn't want to lag behind, they're just looking for the most advantageous terms to legalize btc.

Some countries in the south east asia is banning crypto currencies, I think it will be soon if the bitcoin can be regulated and be a stable currency.

I have reading more articles about the South East Asians using the btc and I think as time goes on and they all become familiarized with the cryptocurrencies they will surely make btc legal in their country.

It makes sense to me as well for South East Asians to incorporate the use of Bitcoin as they become more and more aware of crypto because it will only benefit the people of those countries. Whether this will actually happen is a different story.

Some of Southeast Asian countries do not ban Bitcoin but there is no corresponding regulation that's why they don't legalize yet, I hope in the couple of year they will legalize .

South East Asia contributes big to the growth of bitcoin with increasing user base over the specific region. From my view majority of the countries located in that region hasn't made anything legal or illegal towards bitcoin usage. This serves as a neutral support and the same has caused increase in usage of bitcoin.

Legalization of Bitcoin or crypto currency digital transaction in Southeast Asia is still a big Question? with the China whom very critical on Bitcoin transaction, we never know when this will happen in the near future. The good news is Korea and Japan are more active on crytpo market would probably contribute to general acceptance of crypto by other countries yet, the issues on Regulation should be address first by these country.
