So we survived to this date - August 1. And instead of falling and crashing, I now see a sharp price increase. If this continues, then soon we can see the price of 4000 dollars. And we will not have to wait for the end of the year.

I think it is likely bitcoin will reach that price in this year with segwit activation there is going to be a new found confidence in bitcoin and if you add the pattern we have seen many times before where bitcoin goes up in value at the end of the year then the probabilities of bitcoin reaching that price are high.

Bitcoin price seems to be surging , investors seem to think that the price will surge to $4000 , In the US there seems to be negativity towards bitcoin on the securities and Exchange commission , what would create this surge ?

Its very much unpredictable at this very moment but there are very much certainties that it will uptrend to 4000$.

For me, only investors who have a big role in bitcoin price increases, if more and more investors who believe in bitcoin and invest with bitcoin then bitcoin prices will continue to improve and can continue to increase. If talking $4000 / BTC in this year, I'm also very sure will happen in the year. So let's wait for increasing that price in this year and hold your bitcoin as good as possible.

For this year 4k usd is a far target for bitcoin while still negative comments are resuming in the market. In 2018, we can hit 4k usd, but not this year. There are already too much rumors for chain fork.

Yes more and more people are interested and use bitcoin then the possibility of the price will increase is very high. Here all of us should also contribute to the development of bitcoin. The easiest way is to provide information to our colleagues who do not know bitcoin. Because then we can help by increasing the use of bitcoin and target 4000 $ even 5000 $ can be achieved.

Hopefully before 2017 bitcoin reach $4000, because more and more people are interested in bitcoin which of course this moment will continue to push bitcoin price increase.

$3000 is something that's assured. Even $4000 is possible, because the price growth with bitcoin is uncertain that anytime anything could happen. Even during the past growth none were expecting that price reaches $2000 that short. In a short from around $1000 it started to move and reached near $2800.

The market capital for all Cryptocurrencies rose from 6 billion in January to over 100 Billion in June. It's becoming more adopted by the mainstream year on year. As more interest comes along, there is a higher chance of cryptocurrencies reaching the 1 trillion mark in market capital. To newcomers, market capital is the total amount of USD/EURO and other currencies which are invested into Bitcoin & other Cryptocoins. Bitcoin tends to hold around half of this value but this could change.

You can claim I'm ridiculous, but anyone who purchased £1,000 of Bitcoin in 2009 would be a multi millionaire now.

You certainly wouldn't have expected Bitcoin to rise from $1 to $3000 in 8 years.

Not even amazon has seen that much growth as a multi billion dollar company which has one of the largest brands in the world. Since 1998 Amazon have gone from $1 a share to $1000 a share. That's twice the time for a third of the gain.

You can see why Cryptocoins are such a great investment. It's not to late either, grab yourself some coins. You can buy XRP for 20 cent each and they are also due to go up. They were around 1 cent I January!

More investors and mainstream communities need to seriously look into putting some money away in CryptoCurrencies.

Invest wisely and for the long term. 3-7 years depending on your patience. Even if the coin dips it will recover and rise further than before. This has been seen constantly within the Crypto market place. Don't constantly check the value every day as the fluctuations may panic you and cause you to sell at the wrong time.

Indeed, nothing is impossible from bitcoin to reach that amount if it will continue to rise. However, I guess bitcoin will not attain that amount this year maybe next year, perhaps. In my opinion bitcoins price will rise around 3000 usd.
