it would, because it is dumping right now it doesn't mean the hype is gone. It's just because we are at the end of the year and many people just sold their money for their own purposes so there is nothing wrong with that. Just see what happen in 2020 where big event is already announced such as halving and other stuff

I think Bitcoin halving is an important factor, "Supply decreases + Demand increases = Prices are higher". After bitcoin halving occurs, the supply of bitcoin will halve while the demand for bitcoin ownership still has the potential to increase, for example: Bakkt a Bitcoin exchange fully complying with the provisions of the laws of the United States that have operated. , clearing the way for organizations to join the game. Fidelity Digital Asset Services has implemented depository and cryptocurrency trading for organizations
We can't be sure about the effect of halving to the price because like litecoin, it is done from its halving period and we can see that the price decreases, a lot. It could happen to bitcoin also and to be safe from profit loss, it is better to secure some profit or cash out at least 10-20% of your cryptocurrency so you will not risking that much from the volatility of cryptocurrency market.

Sure it's impossible to say but still... after yesterday hearing i really don't know what to think. Used to be sure Libra entry will boom the market once again but it looks like Libra's not coming shortly.
Is btc halving the most promising ''event'' we are looking forward to (at the moment)?

I know for sure 100% that crypto will boom again, the question only was we don't when? but there are lot of prediction were it came from the experts were by 2020 bitcoin will rise again in the market. Because of the coming bitcoin halving, were according to the majority after this moment, the price of bitcoin will start to rise again.
That is an important question but only if you are a trader, if you are a long term investor then that is irrelevant because it doesn't matter if the recovery happens during the next year or the year after that, you are going to be in the market, you are going to be holding bitcoin and you are going to take advantage of that particular moment in time, so if you are a long term investor there is no point in agonizing when it will happen, just be content to know that it will and that you will obtain profits with it.

I am very confident that this will happen too, I know that crypto will gonna boom again, it just takes time, as these past few years, many people were victim of scam, so they just get rested and there's a lot of people are afraid to take risk yet, so they are waiting for the perfect moment again for them to risk their money in crypto.
controversies always occur before and during Halving, even in the past period several local banks refused user transactions simply because of the high price of bitcoin. But overall everything can be resolved normally.

what I think is that the government will take the role of at least trying to be involved in every user transaction, I am not too worried as long as all positive things can still be done smoothly despite many changes in procedures.

Hope that at this time people will become aware now how small investors are manipulated by those big investors, and at this time more users will eventually know the strength and power of Bitcoin and that the price of Bitcoin will begin to create another history again, so far we all know that many people are really waiting for the halving.

Definitely it will boom once it hits by next year and market will recover. We just need to make sure that we have accumulate and take advantage of the market and make profit once it rise up.

And i think the month before the halving the value of bitcoin will soon  go up and after that it might crash a little bit just like the previous halvings. So wr need to take advantage of that day.
I also believed that is what going to happen next year, the halving mean so much to the investors and miners so it will be a crucial event for bitcoin and it will probably hype up the market so we can expect a huge move for bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies will continue to boom because of the countries that are now really taking it seriously.

We are seeing the market downward for the past 2 years, where most of the attacking are fluctuating in the market. I definitely hope there is a chance for the cryptocurrency to increase their prices, as of now, the market situation makes me think like 2017, suddenly the prices starts recovering.

Actually a declining market after boominh is a sign of good circulation. It is not always upwards, that is the very first thing to keep in mind for everyone who engages in the market. Cryptocurrencies are quite silent this year, if you are not a person who often visits or read news about crypto then you might not even notice that there are movement in here, even bitcoin is declining for over $7500 last month to $7000 today and nearly touches the $6000 range. It is good to see the market slowly backing from the mainstream. It will be a good preparation for what's coming the next year.

Bitcoin recovery in near term not looking good, since 26'june'2019 bitcoin saw sudden spike and sudden fall, bitcoin not making any recovery and sliding day by day. As the chart suggest if bitcoin breaks the trendline above on daily chart then there might be possibility of recovery else it will go further down if trades below the trendline. https://currencyconverterlive.comhttps://www.forexdean.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/forexdean.png

The chances that crypto will boom again is 50/50, the upcoming halving will not guarantee that the price will go up there are also positive and negative impressions about the upcoming events. The right catalyst for the market may appear out of nowhere but no one knows when.
Agree, cryptomarket now is very unstable. We cannot predict what will happen next time, all we can do is to hope that market will go green and go to bull again. Halving cannot guarantee the pump of altcoins maybe yes in bitcoin but not in altcoin. Let us just hope the lesser FUD will happen by next 2020.

All in all, the market is obviously unstable.

We are dealing the most volatile cryptocurrency in the market, obviously will be unstable. We don't need to hope, since we all know it will happen. What we need to do is not hope, we need to wait; we need to be patient since as an investor of a volatile cryptocurrency, you need a huge amount of patience. No one knows what will happen but it is much better to be patient and just wait.

If youtube videos are to go by, one would assume that bitcoin might reach even 50k by 2020 but then the reality since we are part of the forum we all know that the growth would not be exponential but incremental. And even if the price goes 50k for some reason then its almost guaranteed to come down to an average number soon.

That same thing happened when bitcoin peaked at 20k people never knew what was the exact reason for such a exponential growth and later it proved that it was just a bubble but yeah every time such abnormal growth happens, there is always a higher average than before for the rest of the year.
A YouTube video should never be the basis for any prediction about the price of bitcoin we know that those kind of channels are not really trying to predict the price of bitcoin what they are trying to do is to bring subscribers to their channel and the only way to do that is to give the highest and the most outrageous predictions about the market, so they are going to try to paint a very positive outlook for the future of bitcoin and while people like us do not have to be convinced about that we know that they are exaggerating their predictions.
It is just their prediction and it has only low possibility that it will happen. I'm a type of person who rely on my own understanding than to other people ideas and opinions. I do not believe to their prediction because that what I learn from my mentor. I doing my own analysis in a coin and I only relying on what I know. There are a lot of misleading information in youtube so be careful on who you follow for you to not gain wrong knowledge.
Which is as it should be, you should rely on your own understanding of the markets otherwise you're never going to make any progress and improve your ability to predict them, unfortunately you are an exception to all of this, most people are very lazy and they do not want to learn how to do that without understanding that doing such a thing will only slow down their progress and in the worst case scenario it will hinder it to the point that it will be impossible for them to earn money from the markets.

I believe crypto will boom again, the only diference that only much coins will bump like 2017. Especially, i think 99% with high ATH in 2017 will not be bump to new ATH this time and only new coins have good tech and big community will be bump with unexpected peak.  Cheesy

Crypto will boom again which is a promised truth. Only thing we don't know is the time period for the same. Quite often there will be growth, but one that we expect hasn't happened over the past months. Right now every cryptocurrency user looks for a growth same as 2017, and for the same we need to maintain patience.

Yes, we don't have any clue how long it is going to take but our intention should be always aiming to grab as many coins possible until we see growth in the market. Every user expecting something positive will happen in the coming days, but now the market situation of altcoins is going down and it is the right time to grab as many coins as possible.

I think it is hard to say if crypto will boom again. I believe that it will boom again but not in a near future based on the current market situation.

Crypto currencies are the future of money and destined to grow. When there is no doubt in their survival and potential, then definitely they will bring huge rewards and as the halving is on its way, good news can be expected. The focus should be rather on which crypto coins will actually last and gain value over time. Only few digital coins are withholding for long period like bitcoin and ethereum.

Bitcoin or crypto is just like our life, sometimes you are happy, sometimes you are sad, but one thing is for sure that 'after the rain, there is always a rainbow' , although for the past years, we may not achieved what we are expecting but still we earned in different ways, we learned through our experience, and we manage to hold our fund wisely and let's not worry that for sure crypto will once again, will boom again.

from several sources that I read, in fact, the volume on various exchanges is indeed decreasing, it means that the enthusiasm of investors or traders has decreased. let alone see the price of Bitcoin which is still stuck. when it down, took so long to recover. we can see in this week that the price of Bitcoin is still red only a slight 1-2% increase and then fall again. it could be after halving will boom again but the glory moment like 2017 might be not be repeated again. if looked by volume and passion. But at least we want Bitcoin up like 2017. that is just my personal thoughts. no one knows in the future so just waits and see
