I think that at most, and speaking completely out of my imagination, in such a case as you described, we would probably invent a new kind of decentralized government for crypto. That would be really neat. Incorruptible, automated and decentralized democracy. That is really the next stage we need to improve our democratic system, if you ask me. Hell, even things like Visas should be decentralized to stamp out forgeries. There is so much new potential that has not been explored yet. But I have no doubts that it will be implemented someday in the future, hopefully soon.
Even in my wildest imagination, i don't think our government will turn into a decentralized one, not today or even in the future. Because if that happens, then those government officials will no longer be relevant at all, which i think those people will not allow for it to happen. However, instead of turning the government into being decentralized, let's just hope that crypto and the government will be able to work as one so that both jobs from crypto and government will compliment each other.

Half of these jobs have absolutely no relevance to what government jobs entail - things like community moderators and "shillers" are things you would find here on a forum. Ridiculous "job" titles like Growth Hackers are just meaningless buzzwords that people throw together to make their boring jobs sound more interesting or they are just entrepreneurs by another name. Blockchain developers may have a place within government departments where it will be useful to create transparent and structured data that can be analyzed. Project ambassadors? That's job project managers who have been around in business and government departments for decades already.

Actually what we seek from work is value, so government work will not lose interest from some people and will remain relevant. Meanwhile, it is undeniable that crypto jobs provide wide opportunities with high earnings. Say everyone has fulfilled this field, then the government simply "offers" high marks to get workers.

Having said that, crypto and the government job are exactly not the same but in the near future, I see the two working together because crypto is inevitable especially now that the world is going digital.
There are government jobs which are flexible while there are crypto jobs which are full time. Since the covid hit, many jobs now have turned home based but I think those were mainly office jobs or jobs which requires the need of a computer.There are crypto jobs which has in common with some government jobs so I think having some collaborations between these two would benefit both government and crypto workers but of course that if the government of that country is done legalizing cryptos because as of now, there are still lots of government who are very allergic to cryptos. They think it's a big threat to them or to their plans.

Such people are not aware of what they can earn with crypto jobs. Most people now don't believe it is possible to actually work online remotely without being physically present in a workplace and get paid..... handsomely if I may add
The mindset of many people is very close, they are not ready to change the narrative, or go beyond the scope of working offline only, they are missing out on several opportunities because of that.
The world is rapidly growing and more technologically advanced, what worked 10 years ago is no longer providing the same result.
Government jobs are good for one thing..... job security, the moment you are able to secure a government job, your job is very secure compared to other none government jobs. But even if you work in a corporate organization that pays well you can as well work towards securing your job. It all depends on your efficiency and ability to stand out.

No work is not flexible, it depends your position and ability to discharge your duties, What we are saying is that let us not depend on the cryptocurrency work alone because it might leads us into frustration if government happened to abolish cryptocurrency. Let us diversify the source of our revenue
I agree with this point because diversifying source remuneration is always the best way to play safe but I believe crypto has gone beyond the government abolishing it and the worse thing they can do is regulate it although this is not applicable to all countries.

No work is not flexible, it depends your position and ability to discharge your duties, cryptocurrency job is a side hustle because it doesn't have a duration to elapsed, why government work have a specific years it will elapsed and it's duration of functioning is fixed. Actually crypto have to give much time and less duties if working with cryptocurrency. If there will be a blockchain project that will lead into doing some operational jobs that are done by the employees like the gathering, tallying and monitoring of data. If there will be a app or system that is created by blockchain it can minimize the use of workforce and may only need few staffs. But knowing our governments they will preferred to hire more staff than to invest in the development of products or systems, in this case, they will be able to give more jobs as well as get voters when the election happens. It will depend on the government if they prefer more staff or advanced technologies. hero member

As i have said before it depends on an individual line of work trust me, crypto jobs provide steady income because there are some crypto companies that are looking for a full-term DevOps, security engineer, Data Scientist, etc.crypto jobs just as a side job to give them extra money.
But as you said it is possible that in the future crypto jobs and government jobs can be interconnected,
because the development of technology is very rapid, so in the future the government should be able to legalize crypto as a whole.
It will be nice if the government legalizes crypto in the future but they appear to only appreciate centralized coins and blockchain. For now, there are still many countries that only legalize crypto as a digital asset, of course there is no connection between crypto jobs and
government jobs. Except in countries where Crypto is legal in its entirety, then it is possible to finally be able to relate to each other between
crypto jobs and government jobs. So as you said in the end it's everyone who has to choose whether they focus on working in crypto,

Crypto and governments will have to find ways to adapt and evolve to each other.
You're not going to want to let crypto do things your government has provided that seems efficient (things like healthcare, education and handling waste).
There are a lot of things available in the crypto industry but I doubt they're also that well paid too and could really compete with many governments for workers.
Government jobs will never be irrelevant, not today and in the future because they are considered regular jobs unlike with crypto, the jobs that are found in there might only be temporary only when the company need you or some may still be considered for long term job. However, the focus here is the consistency and sustainability of profits, and I don’t think that crypto jobs are more capable of that, although some are well paid but mostly they only pay minimal amount. You're not going to want to let crypto do things your government has provided that seems efficient (things like healthcare, education and handling waste).
There are a lot of things available in the crypto industry but I doubt they're also that well paid too and could really compete with many governments for workers.

Cryptocurrency is digital currency and being adopted by the government, the question will cryptocurrency job make government job irrelevant in future the answer is No. Because government job is a kind of job that have to do with documents qualification, and if you are absorbed by the government they will be a specific earning. But the purpose of cryptocurrency becomes obsolete when we can't avoid a third party while making transactions right because it is actually created to eliminate anyone apart from the sender and receiver.

World governments are even afraid to go more digital because of hackers due to the sensitivity of many documents and plans, they prefer physical employees in many cases.
Aside from that, there were many jobs before Crypto, even the government wants something that will create more jobs so that the economy will improve and citizens eased. If there is anything that Crypto would take a job, it will be within the private sector where competitions are high and it's being given to the highest bidder.
Mind you, the world is large and Crypto space is just a tiny aspect of the activities going around it, therefore, no one would feel a labour shortage because of it. Conclusively, the most needed employee in Crypto is the tech guys, which are few.
