I think that many people would still work in government jobs or in private company jobs even though you also have a job that is related in crypto. As the phrase goes, "never consider your job in crypto as your main income" which I am sure you know that crypto is not stable like fiat currency. The money you will earn in crypto may change from time to time and the money you earn from it may/won't be enough to cover your expenses. It has been discussed many times that you shouldn't quit your job just to make crypto you main income rather make crypto your sideline in earning money. In the future, I think that government will surely find a way to use crypto to their advantage but I don't know what the government will do or what they are planning to do.

I think that at most, and speaking completely out of my imagination, in such a case as you described, we would probably invent a new kind of decentralized government for crypto. That would be really neat. Incorruptible, automated and decentralized democracy. That is really the next stage we need to improve our democratic system, if you ask me. Hell, even things like Visas should be decentralized to stamp out forgeries. There is so much new potential that has not been explored yet. But I have no doubts that it will be implemented someday in the future, hopefully soon.
Blockchain used in political stuff would be amazing. Right now the spending that governments do could be seen in some websites but for some reason people do not really prioritize that for elections, if the part that wants to become the ruling part, and the part that is ruling part all attacked each other on which one spends money where, and who gets paid how etc etc, the money that goes in and out, then we would have a chance.

Blockchain could help that, that way everyone would know who spends money on what, and everyone would be more careful, all politicians would be careful about where they are getting money and where they are spending it as well.

The old phrase "Don't trust, verify" would become an entirely new meaning in the world of future politics. No more scandels, no more voting fraud or sham politicians winning over votes with shady methods. Blockchain could indeed become a very powerful tool. The democratic system that we have now has been cracked, has so many loopholes and insane, unneeded and unecessary bureaucracy attached to it, that we as a species should not be trying to make it harder for ourselves by doing things by the same old ways that we are used to. We really should think a step further and implement blockchain in politics.

There are certain times when many people are replaced by AI in certain companies. This means that higher technology may also affect the number of human employees.
But, this may not give a big impact on certain jobs. If this is about a government job, if this is really available, this may be a good idea, moreover related to the crypto or blockchain adoption. But can it be? Of course, this will be very difficult to realize. Because government regulation is very tight. Moreover, there are many certain interests and importance in the government fields, not only related to how effective a job is but also the service for the public, handling the society directly, and also many other activities. That is why it seems too difficult to realize it. But at least, crypto or blockchain technology may help the government to ease their working activities, using the advanced technology to work for more effective ad efficient management.

A lot of people with little to no knowledge of computer science and programming will still opt for a position in the government if given a chance. It's a less stressful job and all you have to do is follow direct orders and do the same repetitive tasks over and over again. Also, the chance of promotion on government jobs is always high, plus you get other perks that not a lot of jobs will offer you: importance in the public sector. A lot of public officials I know are treated like VIPs in our community, and it's as if it's a status symbol that not many will ever attain.

Definitely this is not happening any soon. We are thinking about it this way because our minds are all tangled up with bitcoin all the time. In reality government is very big and it’s bigger than bitcoin all the time. For a nation to work, for continent to run and for the world to trade smoothly, government interference is must. This keeps everything disciplined and under control.

What you could say is, are IT jobs going to be segregated from private industries and government IT sectors? Or may be crypto IT and regular IT, that kinda terminology.

However, rest assured; government jobs still gonna be there until the end.

Currently the daily transaction volume of cryptocurrencies is very large and a positive thing for the government to its citizens, there will be many benefits that can be obtained, for example reducing unemployment, when many types of investments die due to the pandemic but the cryptocurrencies industry continues to move positively until now.
Unemployment is a great angle if you look at it that way, this means that thanks to cryptocurrencies more people will either have an income or a profit and they will not need to work and others could work instead, which yields a bigger net of people who would be paying taxes in order to continue living, and that brings in more money to the government as well.

I am not saying that we should have just all people working towards this situation, of course there could be some sort of situation where we do not end up being that great, people who lose a lot of money for example would be burden, but at least the potential is there, and should be taken full advantage of.

I think it's called blockchain-based jobs not crypto jobs as cryptos are only a type of currency and they are also a product of blockchain but for your main question if they can make the government jobs irrelevant I guess no because both of them are different. As you can see all the blockchain jobs are only related to it so how can they replace those government jobs like street sweeping?

But, we are happy because when blockchain came it also unlocks opportunities. Now people have different opportunities to choose from. If they don't like the jobs that the government are offering, maybe they will like the jobs that blockchain tech offers.

Honestly speaking if anyone has the chance to only pick one then I think the would work with the job that pays highest, if the government work pays highest then they would skip the Crypto jobs and Vice versa. But many people actually are currently working both.

I don't know for others but the best job anyone needs is a job the created for themselves (self employment) it's actually not easy to attain but if achieved gives you freedom and also increase cash flow that isn't independent on salaries. Crypto-currency has more opportunities to make an individual more self employed and dependent. But government work is created to cage an individual and it could be worse if you from a less developed country with cases of government not sending out salaries as at when due.

As more and more projects keeps unveiling in the crypto and Blockchain industry and many unemployed, self employed and employed are picking up new roles and careers in the crypto and Blockchain industry how much importance will government jobs add to the future generation many will opt you working for projects that will keep them and their earnings anonymous for life especially working as a Blockchain dev or community Manager. If we go by intense stat the crypto and Blockchain space offers more secured, privatized , decentralized and always evolving opportunities. There are thorns of jobs the crypto industry offer and here are a few of them:

I would say that technology in a much more broad and overall way will make many jobs redundant over time. We're seeing in places like supermarkets that used to have hundreds of people working in them being replaced - automated checkouts or even scan-as-you-go type devices have replaced cashiers. Eventually shelves will be stacked completely by automated systems. If you were to multiply that by the tens of thousands of large shops around the world it is an immense loss of jobs. However as long as societies resources are distributed in a fair and equitable manner it is not necessarily a waste. Some of those people freed up might go on to build their own creative outlets which become the next line of jobs for generations ahead.
It would be a continous process or cycle even though innovation and tech would really go into certain far extent where everything is almost automated for the sake of convenience of people but we know that there are jobs or things or actions which mahicnes cant really do.Therefore, we can really say that it would be still that relevant there are jobs which might really be that still existing no matter what. There might be some laying off
if ever a certain system is been applied but much sure there are still manual system would really be remaining. Why people been minding about having those replacements in upcoming future?
They would surely both co-exist instead which it isnt really that a bad thing since not all would really be that prepared on embracing such changes if ever.

It's a fact that cryptography helps government affairs. For example, the e-government system in our country has undergone a rapid transformation and we can handle many needs over the internet. It seems likely that some work like notary etc. will be migrated to the cryptographic environment. This is not just about crypto, but with the advancement of technology in general, the job description changes and there are jobs in different sectors. Of course, some jobs die, too.
Occupations that we wouldn't even have thought of 10 years ago exist now. 10 years from now, we may see different jobs.
It's important how quickly the government adopt technology and are open to innovation. While there is a danger of falling behind in closed regimes, faster progress can be experienced in democratic countries.

No I don't think so, government is notorious for not keeping up with the technology in their way of making things so I don't think that they're going to be taken over easily not to mention that you need transparency for good governance and crypto is counterintuitive solution since you're hiding it although you can show it via public ledger, it's not like everyone understands what's going on in that part.

Well, crypto will make some jobs irrelevant, every era is doing the same, some jobs get irrelevant but there's a big need for new work places! In my country a lot of government work is done on "paper", so I guess that digitalization will cut off people who work with paper, but people with digital skills will have a place! I don't see anything strange in that, it's adapting to a new environment, some are already prepared for these changes, and others need to adapt, it's the natural process if we wish to go forward!

Cryptos is just money. Money aren't jobs neither do there suit better for an investment. Crypto might have accord itself this role as an investment because, it's still a developing field and things could later change when the volatility drops.

If we are to look the other way the I'll as a question.
Would there always be a government of the world to govern the various nations?
To that I will say yes. There would always be a high power to exact control and that's the government. The various offices would exist, people will worl them and get paid for it.

Should crypto currency provide jobs in terms of investment opportunities, the ots a good thing thing a relief for the government. Crypto wasn't meant to shade civil service jobs.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
There are more people on earth than there ever were. There are need of more jobs. There is a perpetual shortage of jobs. As soon as we generate a new job. More people will be present there to take up that job.
And the jobs are probably going to get more scarce as time goes by, AI is getting smarter by the day and it can do stuff that we could not even imagine a decade ago, so a lot of people that thought that their job could never be automated are in for a rude awakening, and if that is all what you have done all your life then it is going to be very difficult for people to adjust to this new reality, it is because of this that we also need to get as many skills as we can so we avoid being replaced by AI anytime soon.

Our life is much more multifaceted compared to cryptocurrency. We live in the material world and for our normal life we need to use exactly material things and objects. Cryptocurrency is part of the financial sector, it cannot provide even a tenth of the jobs that the government and the people themselves create by doing business. Therefore, cryptocurrency cannot significantly change anything. The volume of employment in it cannot be compared with the volume provided in the material sector of the economy of each state.

After COVID people have lost trust in jobs - anything can help - your job is a call or an email away.
So better have a side hustle so that you are not blown away if you lose your job.
And yes - with the passage of time smart people will reduce their dependence on others and will make themselves financially rich.
I really hope this is true, but this should be a lesson that people must have known for a very long time, if we take a look at the crisis that we saw during 2007 you will see that the same pattern emerged, as soon as there is any problem with the economy the owner or the person in charge of managing a company will do everything to protect the company and not the employee, so a lot of people are going to lose their jobs just when they need their job the most, so it is important to have a second source of income so you can at least get by until you get a new job.

Underestimate- nothing
I've heard opinions that government jobs just pay for your time and you earn less, and we all know how important time is because you can't do much because of work, and standard of living is becoming more expensive, it's also not bad to have a government job and also invest in projects and also trading cryptocurrency and with time there are more to be unveiled when it comes to crytocurrency as a whole and the internet is taking charge people are earning a lot from the internet from when covid 19 people are becoming more exposed to earning from internet and crytocurrency.
