$500 or even $1000 and higher is easily possible once there is a big bull run. Everyone is waiting for it whenever it happens to start this year. Until then, market is barely going anywhere and remains sideways and trend less.
i think ethereum can only reach the price of $500 when it comes to a new bull run. so should a bull run come this year, it would be possible. but without a bull run, i do not believe the price will go so far this year.
maybe it can happen if HF ethereum can achieve success will be able to return to the price that you said for this year, because this coin in my opinion is still very good and potentially good for price increases especially by seeing the progress of the project that continues to increase better. usually coins that experience HF will get a pump significantly and I hope it can happen to ethereum.
My guess is probably not i think for it to reach that height it will mean BTC crossing some figures that is probably not feasible man and if you look at the whole price chart now i think you will see for yourself that what you are calling is seriously high man

Expectations from the crypto currency are very rarely justified, most often everything happens in the market opposite to our expectations, this is a pattern, since people are waiting for $500 this year, the chances are small
Yes, ethereum should reach 500$ by the end of this year, I have no doubts and I can even bet my money it will happen once within this year.
It depends if the ethereum price get too 500$ this year, because the price of it are still in 124$, but i hope that it will get 500$ up so we can sell are tokens and get more profits.
I think everyone hopes to be like you. but in reality we are still waiting for the market to grow ethereum prices and other assets. there's not much we can do now, just wait and see the market every day. hero member

You're right with what you said about the ETF and BAKKT to be some kind of way to centralized crypto because it was the same act that was played by the CBOE which literally lead to the dump in price of bitcoin market acouple of months. However, Ethereum will surpass the price range you mention but I dont see that happening this year though.

It can not be said that this will definitely not be, in the crypto currency everything has already happened, especially when there are more than 10 months ahead, but still the probability is small, more chances for such a price in 2020
I really want to believe that growth will happen. But lately many people have been talking about it, and as we know crypto always goes against the majority. That's why I'm worried about it. Perhaps the growth of the market will be postponed for an indefinite time.

Yes please, I’ve been waiting for this one since last year and I hope that it will happen again this year. Though I think ETF will not be the big reason for its pump, but it will be more on the bull trend and ETH will go for the higher price again, I will just hold for long. 
Well ,no one knows what will happen to the price of ethereum this year it might go down or up. 2018 is the worst year for crypto maybe this year is a diffetent one.
We have the chance to reach the level of $500 again for ETH and I also believe that 2019 is a different year for cryptomarket, it can be the bouncing year or a much stable market where we can see a small pump and dump with the prices. Anything can happen, and the price of ETH now is still on the green candle, I hope it will continue up to the uptrend. 
Cannot really see ETH getting anywhere near 500 USD to be honest. Would love to see that but when the market continues to go sideways and down it just cannot happen.
Best guess from me would be something like that ETH would get near the 200 USD mark and maybe stabilize there for a while before climbing any higher.

Although the current development is still very far from expectations but I think at a price of $ 500, ethereum will be able to reach it by the end of this year. This movement will begin in Q2, obviously everything is connected with the state of Bitcoin itself, if bitcoin has no movement then maybe ethereum will have difficulty achieving that. seeing the trend of bitcoin seems to be starting to improve and ethereum also naturally lifted, I believe that. so it's just a matter of time for ethereum to start winning the same as 2017. Even my predictions will be more than $ 500.

While I sincerely understand the fuzz about ETF and all crypto derivative market, I must admit that too much reliance on such instruments will render Bitcoin a little more centralized as we are more dependent on such institutions to make Bitcoin hit its hallmark. But for Ethereum, there's a lot at play that constrains the price from going any higher. My bet would be $300 with ETF approval, this is truly reasonable considering that there are many competitors - smart contracts, dapp VMs, and a host of open source entities gunning for a faster transaction throughput compared to legacy crypto blockchains.

the possibility is very less because ATM will struggling a lot to improve the value from the beginning of this year but expecting a lot from ethereum will not be satisfied by itself it will be the fact so wait for at least two years to make it more powerful.

Nobody can really predict the price in the crypto world. Either for Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other altcoin. Of course, many people hope that the price of Ethereum will rise to 500$ this year, but it's hard to predict whether it will. My personal assessment is a no. I think we'll have to wait until 2020 or 2021 for such a price, but of course i don't know if my prediction is correct. Time will tell.
