No wonder it can for sure same as bitcoin but the problem is that ETF will be ever passed?for how many years that is has been pushing ?but did something happens to favor crypto?No always failure so i guess the only chance of ethereum to grow this year is if the HardFork becomes successful then it might be the way we will waiting for since i am also a ethereum holder for quite sometimes now.having this growing is a blessing for me and for many cryptonians

ETH can only increase to $ 20-50 and its price will be dumped because previous investors will try to sell all to reduce losses in this market.Nah i doubt it. Or it's more likely that eth will stay under 200 for majority of this year. I'd be surprised if it even breaks the 200usd level. Though i'm not too worried because ether is an established coin with solid following. The rise of it may not be that quick but i believe it'll peak in a few years breaking previous aths.

well if sec approved ETF there is possibility that ethereum will climb up to $500 so let's see and it's good to buy more ethereum.
the reason why ETH pump was huge back in 2017 was due to the surge of ICO scams. we were having at least one per day at some point and some days even a couple of them in one day. and to invest in them you had to buy ETH and that pumped the price more than normal.
now ICOs are nearly dead and nobody is buying ETH anymore so a 5x pump is going to be nearly impossible to happen specially now that there are a lot of competing smart contract platforms that are a lot better than ethereum.

The main updates are set on next year, so there is no chance that Ethereum will hit 500USD without these updates. It will improve the speed, safety and scalability of the network.
I think it could happen, now Ethereum price slowly rise in a last few days. Ethereum will fork in the next 13 days, i hope this fork can make the price of Ethereum rise again. $500 it's possible in this year.

$500 will be possible for ethereum to reach in this year, but I am not sure if it will happen this year because if bitcoin cannot increase higher and stay at one high price, ethereum cannot increase higher and maybe it will stay on $200. I think people still waiting for the update of the ethereum project as we know that Constantinople has got delay again. And maybe if the update is released, it could give a good start for ethereum to increase the price.
