Ethereum has a real potential to be in thousands of dollars and according to me the price might reach $1000 in the next year.
ETH is facing a lot of issues theses days and this might slower down the growth of ETH. If all the current issues of ETH are solved then it might spike up in price and compete in DASH's price.

There are a lot of obstacles which could prevent the ETH price to raise up to $1000 in few months. For examble BTC price behaviour and different scale problems at the ethereum network. It doesn't work properly for few days because of sh*tty kitties. So I won't be so sure that it could reach 1000 soon.

Maybe not before January, but it will get there. There is a huge demand to invest in any cryptos and while BTC has gone up so fast, people are looking for alternatives. Second largest currency will be a natural choice.
And about litecoin, it is up almost 60% in the last 24h..

If one cat's game can get on knees whole Ehetereum Network with 23.000+ pending transactions there is no way it will rise in price, secondly Bitcoin is mooning so quickly is an unbelievable and even controversial hack on multi mining pool - NiceHash with loss of 78 Million dollars (4700 BTC) can't stop Bitcoin rise. Until the end of 2018, ETH can reach $1000. The history proves that ETH is not a pump coin in short time. So, if you wanna get profit quickly, let choose another coin such as Monero, Litecoin,..

I think that I agree with you Ethereum is one of the safest coins in the market. However, its price is usually stable or just goes up abit. So, $1000 is the target it will hit at the end of 2018, I think.

I am not too sure about Jan 1, but I definitely have faith that ethereum will hit that number at some point during 2018. Hopefully we will see it surpass that price, but I think 1000 in 2018 is a safe bet.
we need more time to see ethereum back to increase and I don't think that the price will increase on Jan 1 but every possibility can happen. we have a big chance to sell ethereum at a higher price after this downtime and soon many people can make a lot of money from ethereum. I still have hope that in 2018, every altcoin can go high and reach the new higher level of the price.

Base on the scenario, ETH will become more bearish. Til when? Who knows, BTC is murdering every coins right now. I am expecting it will take a lot of time before coins to recover. Reaching 1000$ this year is impossible I guess.
It is possible for Ethereum to hit that amount in 2018 but not as soon as it could be. As we can see, the price is increasing but not as high and not as rapid as bitcoin is. Definitely it will reach $1000 and will be over too, but first we have to be patient and try to hold our coins until the good fortune of Ethereum arrives.
Wise opinion. I think etherium has big future but really not that soon.
It will grow but slowly slower than bitcoin. But the price next year will be over than $1000. I am sure. I hold my etherium as long as i do not need fiat.
I think is not possible because other people speculation that I read in an online article but I don't think its true. But if that's happened its great deal to all of us.
