I think in August Ethereum could have some unstable rates jumping, cause no one 100% knows what happens. The problems with Poloniex will affect on CryptoCoins like BTC and Ethereum. But after the OmiseGo start in 4th quarter of this year, Ethereum will jump high.

Only bitcoins would be affected by the chainsplitting/segwit happening on August 1. All other altcoins including etherium would just keep moving up and down depending on trading volume they have on the market.

I dont think ethereum will be affected even if dumped I predict it will increase its price. I dont think ethereum trading will stop on aug1, as bitcoin is the one that is affected. it will be affected for somehow especially the pair of btc to eth since the major currency to be used buying eth and if this something happen with btc value
for sure eth market will rise up since more pro traders will divert their assets from btc to another crypto and eth will be one of those popular option, just saying since we are going to witness this.

Maybe eth-btc trade pair will be stopped but others like eth-ltc, eth-strat will be open.

But if bitcoin manages to solve the problem, it is an advantage for bitcoin and its price will definitely be more expensive than the highest rate this year. And ethereum will also surely increase

ETH and USDT won't stop trading at all even if implementation of changes on bitcoin on august 1st will be done. After all, bitcoin. ETH and USDT are three different currencies, therefore it would not stop trading but it will be affected into some degree depending on people's actions before fork. For now watch the market movements, buy if you can, and see if ETH will pump or not after August 1.
No, I think ETH price will increase because my local exchange people are suggesting us to convert to your Bitcoin into any other altcoin. So there is big chance for ETH to increase its price.
I thought only deposit and withdrawal of Bitcoin will be stopped at the exchanges. Trading shouldn't be affected necessarily as it's just accounting of trade books on the exchanges only. Not to mention Ethereum is totally on another blockchain and why should it be affected?

I dont think so because ethereum is not based on bitcoins only bitcoins will have a fork and affected of August 1 so the trading still going on. Usdt will also continue Btc to other crypto i think will stop.

i think ETH will continue trading in that day because ETH have their own market so why they should stop trading? beside that, we can still trade ETH-USDT if BTC is stop trading. beside that, trading activity in market will not stop because of segwit and they still operate their market, the only thing that we should not do is not making withdrawal from one wallet to another wallet.

probably not. Because eth will not be affected of it. Even now the price of eth is rising today.
Yes, I agree on that matter. Bitcoin will be in danger but ethereum is a different and independent platform, so I think it will live its own life. If btc succeeds, eth will just go on the way it does now. If btc gets hurt (hard fork situation) then ethereum will grow in price, because people will sell their btc to buy second best thing which is ethereum. But then again, who knows, maybe people will make the failure of btc the end of cryptocurrencies.
