everything can change over time, only if in terms of ranking it is clearly undeniable because it covers the interests of most people, and if the ripple continues to advance then there will also be lots of ico who get paid by ripple.
To be honest I don't believe that ripple will keep second position for a long time, I think ethereum will recover soon. But stiil ripple is strong and has a bright future.

that's right, because it has already happened before and now going forward to ripple leaving ethereum, I see a lot of people leaving ethereum and switching to the ripple but all of them can still return to normal.

My point is that Ripple replaces Ethereum whether there will be major changes in the future, such as whether all ICOs will use Ripple as a payment from their ICO to replace payments using Ethereum and all exchanges will use Ripple (XRP) as a payment to buy or sell altcoins on the exchange.

I don't think it will be possible. Ethereum the easiest way to payment for ICO's. All project (even based EOS, NEO and others) uses Ethereum. I've participated a ICO. It is normally based on EOS. But they create their first token which based on ETH. Then they Swapped to EOS. So XRP has completely different mission on crypto world. It is competitor of Bitcoin not Ethereum.
It is very hard to predict, because you cannot trust anyone on this market. Some people are saying that we are going to recover till the end of the year. Others say that we will touch 2k USD per Bitcoin first.
Nothing serious had happened guys it is simple in cryptocurrency. Ethereum may lose its place by Ripple it doesn't mean Ripple will be the same place forever. Ethereum will kick out Ripple soon because ETH has great demand and also has a brilliant technology very soon ETH going to be a token so keep patience and be positive.
It is true that Ripple has replaced Ethereum at number 2 coinmarketcap, but that has little effect on the ICO project, because the developers are not interested in developing the project on the Ripple platform. the developers prefer to develop their projects using the Ethereum platform even though the price is currently down.

I think it could happen and ripple can be as a new trend for the ico. And if this happens then, we will see ripple can increase higher and maybe it will break more than $5. Everything can change in the cryptocurrency as we don't know what will happen, so we need to prepare to make a profit from every coin in the market. But I wonder about how higher ripple can reach at the end of this year because ripple needs to compete with the ethereum defend the position in the market.
For me, of course, it’s unexpected that ripple has overtaken ethereum and has been holding on for some time, but this is not an indicator of its success. The ethereum platform, as was in demand for launching projects, will be so.

I think your opinion is optimistic and no evidence about it. Although the market cap of XRP is higher than ETH, I believe it is only temporary because the potential of ETH was always better than XRP, and the price of XRP will never surpass ETH.
In conclusion, I think the future, BTC, and ETH still dominate the cryptocurrency market and all altcoins price will depend on the rate of ETH and BTC.

In my own opinion i think its just temporal, ethereum will take back its posistion as times goes on. Its majorly because of the way market is by now that is why we see different movements, as soon as market stabilizes, things will come back to normal if I think that can happen and what do you think? please give your opinion.

I can't describe it for now, because market turmoil is so strong to change rapidly. especially for ripples and ethereum.

Not necessarily, or it takes a long time. Ethereum may have lost its future, and XRP is more suitable for future STO. This may be the direction of the development of cryptocurrency. The future of Ethereum is really hard to recover. It’s too hard for it to depreciate a lot.
We should keep in mind it, In future Ripple can be payment system and everywhere accepted even ICO and in exchange. But you can't throw Ethereum, few months before was second position.
People seem to forget that XRP is centrally controlled. It is limited to the field of payment. As intelligent contract development is not very realistic. Because it is not dispersed. It's easy to be controlled. So even though XRP is in second place, it is difficult for people to accept it and use it.
