Again, no it won't, but my tax attorney said that I need to stop betting on this stuff, so I won't be betting any more with fiat or bitcoin.  If it does hit $1000 again (which I know it won't because of sources), then I'll send the next person to post...my guitar pick and one of my socks.

You  just said you can predict the future. Are you being serious? Can your "sources" predict the future?
I'm terrible at math, have no idea about stocks, trades or anything of that nature but do know one can't predict what will happen in the future.

As I'm typing this I have not yet hit the post button. I predict I will click on the post button and I won't die and something bad won't happen right before I click it. 100% Guarantee.

Let's find out!!

Hint: If you are reading this, I predicted the future.

Sorry, you are fundamentally wrong. You are just saying what probably will happen, but in reality don't really know it for sure. Die of a heart attack before hitting post. Ya never know. Please, don't need a back and forth with this. We really should agree that no one can predict the future, unless you are nuts.

Incorrect. this is only one statistical outcome and a far greater pool of data is needed to prove a positive correlation between your predictions and the future.

I think we will hit $1,000 again, but I think we are going to be hovering around the $775-$850 range for awhile.   Whenever it gets to the low $800s or below a ton of new buy orders get placed.   Also vice versa, as it approaches $835+ a ton of sell orders get placed...so I think we going to be tinkering back and forth in this range for a little bit.   I definitely think we are headed over $1,000 over the next few months though...

There is a not well know feedback mechanism built in the Bitcoin, that depends on the Bitcoin price.  Higher the price, higher the selling pressure due to the miners costs.

This mechanism is currently suspended because one does not simply buy mining hardware.  One has to wait.

we are very close to $2,000 mark

Huh? I'm an impatient person I guess. There has to be something that's holding it back, not allowing it to creep over that $1k mark. All is ok, since I'm just accumulating coins but it has been a while since I've sold any. When it hovered around $1k for a while I constantly sold here and there.I thought this weekend would have been it!

Purely psychological. But we are being slowly pressed closer by buying pressure as the days go by. We will definitely break over by the end of the month

Have you noticed the buying pressure is decreasing

What about the selling pressure? Sometimes it's good looking at the charts upside down - gives you an idea of the fear in holding fiat!  Grin

When it did drop to $600 a few weeks ago, I made a big purchase then also. I normally just mine my coins, but had to make a purchase. So I'm doing well and my stubbornness is just keeping me from selling since I got spoiled with that $1k a while back. The waiting game.

Well, we almost made $1000 again, or if it did it was short lived. All the way back to to the $700's now. What a pain in the ass. Lets see if the census was correct here. Most people said it would definitely go over $1000 after the new year. Here we are.

We still have about 357days left of "after new year"? Cheesy
