Bitcoin probably won't hit $1000 again because of sources.

5 years is probably a better minimum hoarding time. By then the s-curve will have probably been through the vertical phase, no longer parabolic, and leveling off.

I have to agree, at this time Bitcoin will be accepted online everywhere, offline many places, Bitcoin ATMs in every bigger city

The best strategy, it seems, is to buy bitcoins and then unplug the internet for 6 months and wait Smiley

6 months is much too short a time. 24 months is a better minimum hold time for a big fat greasy profit.

As some bears have been quick to point out, there have actually been 6-month periods (e.g. late 2011) when the price fell.

If someone bought at $32 in 2011, then they had to wait about 18 months to make a profit, fyi.

Two years is nothing, and if sold today 2000% increase  Wink

if we survive this in a decent shape, confidence will be very high, price will recover

This is a free market. Unless something changes, it will return at a certain moment. Just be patient.

Bitcoin is not a get rich quick! It's a "get rich slow" or "get poor quick", and you need to select one about now Smiley

True, but it is not really a "get rich slow" scheme.  I would not call 6 months very slow.  Wink  Maybe more of a "Get rich with a small bit of patience" is a better way to put it.

I think I read somewhere that in the history of Bitcoin, no one has lost money that has bought and held longer then 6 months.  Sounds pretty good when you think about it that way.

If someone bought at $32 in 2011, then they had to wait about 18 months to make a profit, fyi.

But barring buying in the month leading up to that, yeah, you're statement is pretty much true.

Looking at the chart, you are correct.  That is actually very impressive when you think about it.

I wouldn't expect to see $1000 bitcoins for some years if it will even happen.
Expect much lower prices.

I think it will go back up again.  However, query how much was due to China buying and now the Chinese can't buy as easily so there could be a problem with ramping back up.

What happened with the Chinese? It is hard for me to read everything, always busy at work 12-14 hours a day.

It might. It might even rise significantly higher. Although I expect the long term target to be about $400.

If you mean long term target many years, it would mean today value should not be higher than $200, which would fit graph data. But Im more bullish of the future price given the recent positive news
