I bought some Litecoin when the price was on it's way up. The price took a dive but I've been holding them in the hope they will recover to their former glory. This doesn't appear likely to happen any time soon, would I be better off selling them now and limiting my losses and investing elsewhere or do you think it's likely to achieve a higher price in the long term? All advice appreciated.

Litecoin has existed for 5 years already, as Bitcoin after correction is always recovered. I do not think that we should expect much growth in the near future from him. A new maximum of Litecoin can only be achieved when Bitcoin will cost about $ 20,000. I would not invest in this coin, there are a lot of other more promising options on the market.

This is one that I got to think hard just a while ago.
Litecoin.

I see online wallet websites and exchange has not listed LTC up until now, while they already have ETH and BCH in their list for crypto to fiat exchange. Hell even XRP is there in other website wallets.
I said to myself "What the hell!". Where is LTC? This coin had already been in the crypto industry for a long time and it is being used a lot. BCH and XRP are just used for trading purposes to make whales richer while the one with usage is being dumped.

That is crypto world for you now. Being manipulated by whales.  Cry
Better just stay with BTC.

Don't worry, litecoin will definitely recover. Litecoin belongs to the strongest altcoin category and also becomes a coin in interest.

If you want to survive for a long time, it will be fine with the hope that it will recover. The cryptocurrency market is not stable at this time because of its volatility, and not just litecoin but almost all coins experience. So expect price fluctuations that can be linked to demand and supply.

I do not know, it could be the price of LTC back above $ 100 price. at present, it is very likely if the LTC price goes up again, as the effect of rising prices on bitcoin will likely have a positive effect on the price of other coins.

If bitcoin starts to recover in price, what it shows now, then accordingly it will pull up the entire market, including LTC. So do not sell it, it will definitely grow.

For long term there is possibility that litecoin will recover, but I think this litecoin is slowly increase it seems few investors interested in litecoin, let's just hope that whales will interested to invest in litecoin.

when BTC decrease, I think altcoins will reccover.
And Litecoin is no exception.
When bitcoin recovers, litecoin is just one coin that somehow depends on the bitcoin price. Price really depends on the project itself if there will be headlines then most likely we can see the green line immediately.

Its price will go up if the BTC recovers. But it will not recover much because Litecoin is no longer popular. Its price will gradually lose over time.

Litecoin follows the trend of bitcoin and it has started to recover so will be the case with LTC.It has potential to recover soon and it is recognized as one of the most profitable altcoin due to its technology, faster speed and low transaction fees it will be used widely in future.Altcoins will also recover after bull run hits the market in coming months.

In appearance, this interesting coin is for its capitalization a very liquid asset. I will wait for another 10-20% price drop to invest!  Wink

If you are worried about the time value or opportunity cost of your moment, go ahead and consider divesting small amounts of LTC and investing in Altcoins that you believe are more profitable in the short-term while keeping a careful eye on LTC volume.

The recent downslide of Litecoin's price has interrupted its normal growth, but things should pop off soon. Be patient. You will be rewarded. People who hold LTC value its low-volatility and fast transactions.

The current situation of cryptomarket is kind of annoying but I'm sure that, like all other cryptocurrencies, Litecoin should rise in price closer to the second half of 2018.

You'd not better be panic at this moment. Now, the situation of market is to that all Altcoins are under controled price, so the price can't rise at this time is normal thing, and Litecoin is too. It will rise up soon, Let's calm down

If you want to to keep holding litecoin that you hold , just hold Sir, it's okay, But sell if condition going to worst.

And don't buy litecoin at this moment, there are many legit cheaper coin to buy, instead of litecoin.

if you have LITECOIN coins or any type of coin. I suggest you have to hold it first because the market is still sad or the price is still low. and if you want to sell coins, you have to wait for the market price to go up again. let you feel the benefits.
