It seems that everyone will answer not guaranteed with different views. As well as I. I think long-term investment in the crypto space is also not guaranteed, even if the investment is made in BTC.
Regarding there are people who are involved in price games in the market, of course I am sure there are.

I'm thinking if the word "guarantee" will ever fit in the crypto space.
Knowing that any cryptocurrency can go down significantly in just a short amount of time, a guaranteed profit is kinda impossible.

On the other hand though, a factor that might affect your profitability is the amount of time you will hold it. A longer time frame might give you profit but there's no guarantee on it and vice versa. After all, if we will just focus on Bitcoin then its obvious that there are times that it will go down but throughout the history it shows that it is going upwards only.

It will depend on how long you will use bitcoin as the investment because if you decide to use bitcoin for a long-term investment for about 2 years, but the fact, the price does not increase so high, that will not give you the big profit. Maybe the big profit will come to you in the next 3-4 years from the first time you hold bitcoin and that is what happens to bitcoin. No one will know if the bitcoin price will be at the highest price in the next 2 or 3 years. Although BTC has a huge fan following and influence in the cryptocurrency world, it doesn't guarantee long-term investment. Moreover, I know that Altcoin was born because of the influence of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has a large community of members and of we holding Bitcoin for the long term will be profitable, for altcoins I will choose projects that have good fundamentals, at that time I had waves when the price reached $2 and I waited patiently, then when BTC price was $60 k, all top altcoins reach new ATH, there I started to learn to be a Hodler and I think it is not easy to hold coins for years, that's why I left the wallet and opened it after the bullrun came

long term hodling is one of the most proven way to make good profits afterwards.. But yes aside of bitcoin if you're looking for a crypto currency that can guarantee massive profits in the market, then i highly recommended those top 20 alts in coinmarketcap because they truly have a potential to skyrocketed what ever happened in the market.. Just keep in mind to take it seriously when making investment so that you will become successful what i mean is dont just rely what others saying always avoid negative people because they can't help you..

No, because there is no certainty in any investment - crypto or otherwise. The current market conditions could change at any time so that a long-term investment is no longer safe. But in the past, long-term HODLing in crypto was the only right way!

A good example of this is the oil market. Until Corona, oil companies were a safe bet with some of the highest dividends around. Corona (which came out of the blue) shook up the entire market, making oil stocks unattractive to many investors today. A good 1.5 years ago, no one could have imagined this.

BTC also does not guarantee yes Legend.
That means, any opinion or suggestion related to long-term investment is just a sweetener.
Good example in my opinion and it's logical for the current situation. Almost every corner of the economy is damaged.

guarantee for what? if you want to get profit from investing in cryptocurrency without taking any risk, then of course there is no cryptocurrency can guarantee that including Bitcoin, because investing in cryptocurrency definitely has risk, it's just that there are cryptocurrency that have a big risk and small risk, therefore if you want to invest in cryptocurrency that have a small risk (safer), so I advise you to invest in cryptocurrency that are in the top 5 on coinmarketcap, but of course the profit you get will not be as big as cryptocurrency which has a big risk.

Holding long term does not mean that it will provide a guarantee, the concept is to become a believer that bitcoin will reach an all time high again in the future. with great returns. and many people believe it will happen again . basically there are 2 sides 1 who believe bitcoin will be much more expensive than it is now and another side people who doubt anything about bitcoin. if you have decided to become a long term holding, you must first believe in bitcoin.

Guarantee of what? I don't think that crypto will really give us a guarantee of 100%. If you're looking for a 100% guarantee for the future, you can go to property investment.
However, although it doesn't give a high guarantee, we all have known about the crypto world, how many people are successful from investing in crypto (of course the worthy cryptos, not the shitcoins based on hype and FOMO only).
That is why it is better for us to always consider and analyze which cryptocurrencies will be chosen for investment in order to lower the risks.

What "guarantee" are you looking for? A guaranteed profit? Well, if you are holding bitcoin and other well known altcoins, then highly likely you will be making some very good profit in the long run. If you are investing on shitcoins, then no, you won't be making anything in the long run. You will lose everything. But you should keep in mind that the crypto market is very volatile. We don't know what's stored in the future for crypto currencies. It might become obsolete or it might be the mainstream currency. So whatever you do, make sure you know the risks.

Even if you invest into bitcoin for long term, i must say there is still no assurance for it. Remember how volatile the market is and the price will always have its pump and dump anytime of the day. It's good to invest in crypto as long as you have those coins with great potentials and you are making DYOR everytime you make decisions.

As far as I know, it's not really about investing for the long term, it's if the coin or project is one that's sustainable for the long period, for example, what makes Bitcoin a coin that an investor can regard as a long term investment is that the product is a long term product that will prolly reach mainstream adoption in years to come. Having said that, investing in pump and dump coins doesn't mean you'll earn profits, which by extension means there are no guarantees, your chances of loss is somewhat higher than that of profit, thus you should actually DYOR on the product you want to invest in for the long term and not just basically investing in any coin for the long term.

even the richest investors invest in cryptocurrencies and keep them for a very long time. people who invest in a very long time then he will get a very big profit. before investing we must understand the coin we are going to buy, we see it from the side of the development team first then we see the usability side of the coin, if the results of our research are good, then invest in coins.

Right, actually there are no guaranteed profit in anywhere in the crypto market is specially high risk i think. Profit from bounties it’s now quite difficult because tons of projects goes SCAMMED. I didn’t get payment for a several projects where i was signature participant. Specifically which project will return good profit within one year that's no one can guarantee in altcoins investment.

Once we enter into investments, either in crypto space or in the real world, none of them can give us a guarantee. Even if we tend to hold our coins in long term, it will still have no guarantees that we will make profits at the end of the day. So be ready to make profits or end up with losses in the long run. But somehow we can minimize losses if we have those skills and strategies needed to have in such investments.

There will be some coins that can give you certainties but there are also some that wouldn't. It would more likely depend on your choices if your investment can give you a guarantee because if you will be investing on a coin that will obviously go down after a long time of having a high value, then you are just putting yourself into a higher risk. As you make an investment in the crypto space, consider yourself already as someone who is taking on a risk. There are really no assurance for me, it is more likely about the timing, the right decisions and the right choices that makes you profitable in crypto.
