It seems faster and fairer. Smiley

Litecoin is acclaimed as first coin to apply Segwit and this addition made a sudden surge in coin price. It is not exaggeration to list LTC as one of the top 4 cryptocurrencies at the moment.
Yes, there is possibility Litecoin could reach that high in year or so but most important thing is interest of investors. Many new promising coins entered top 20 at coinmarketcap recently and maybe possible that investors move to these coins than retro ones.

When Bitcoin ultimately rejects SegWit and it's exposed as garbage code. Litecoin will take the "Mother of all Hits."
If bitcoin does reject it. I haven't seen any big news telling that. Only themerkle.com made an article and there it's written that Segwit is expected to be 80% activated with bitcoin by this September and that miners don't support it not because of some technical reasons but because of roadmap of bitcoin core. Thus I guess btc still has chances to survive. Nevertheless, litecoin has very good chances to grow more and more in price anyway.

I'd say no. It may spike up, but I have my doubts if it'll remain constant. Litecoin frankly doesn't have as much media exposure to make it work, and remember according to https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-litecoin-a-lite-version-of-bitcoin-launched-47417 it is meant to be the 'silver' to Bitcoin, which it kind of already has achieved.

Both are good stable coins, Bitcoin fees are really good right now, if you avoid all the places that price gouge fees.

0.25 btc? . I think there is no strong reason for reaching like ethereum got erc20 like some strong reason just fast will not make too much difference.
Bitcoin has much more of a use when compared to Litecoin. LTC doesn't have that many people wanting to use it because the people that go into LTC usually just want to exchange their coins into Bitcoin. If Litecoin had major stores wanting to accept it along with Bitcoin then it would have some use to it.
Those are want to using litecoin just interested to avoid the high fees through use the bitcoin for directly, The direct fees is so high compared with use the another coin such as litecoin with 4x more faster block rather than bitcoin itself. THere is no reason for use litecoin anymore.

It's really weird that people do not show so much interest in LTC as on BTC,I think at some time the momentum was lost in this one.

0.25 BTC (or higher) is very much possible once KnC and other whales decide to create the peak price for it by buying up everything from exchanges to create the artificial pump. It will be closer to the release of scrypt ASICs. Smart players will sell at the peak and claim HODL publicly. Lots of bagholders will be created, both new as well as those who "are in it for the long term" who bought in November/December last year.

LOL @ Brother/Sister/Pair currency propaganda.

Hey at least the network will be secure with the ASIC bagholders. LMAO. I myself will take part in the LTC festivities more than BTC this year.  Grin

So ur saying asic manufacturers will buy all the Litecoin they can ? Interesting theory never thought of that before , either way I'm hodling for years.

litecoin depends on bitcoin due to some reason or other and if bitcoin rate goes down it reflects on litecoin.

1/4 the worth of BTC, highly unlikely unfortunately Sad methinks
It will be 1:1 to the BTC coz of 4x block finding speed.

Is LTC having the same merchant acceptance as BTC?
Is LTC as popular as BTC to general public?

 Grin
