I think the Litecoin community is simply not really active here. Even Dogecoin has the same problem. The subforum anyway is cluttered by ANNs of very small and mostly centralized coins.
Most active communities seem to be:
Litecoin subreddit (several posts/topics per day)
Litecointalk (at least 50 topics per month)
There are sometimes also topics popping up in the Altcoin Discussion forum, like
"Litecoin's comeback".
About the "underperforming" in price: My theory is that many people were too delusional with the pre-halving hype in 2023, and when the price even lowered near the halving, they sold due to disappointment. In addition I think some LTC holders could have sold ther LTC for BTC to speculate on the ETF event, and as currently BTC is performing better than LTC, they don't buy back into LTC. A BTC sideways market lasting more than a few days could be the next opportunity for LTC price to grow. Once it leaves the $65-73 corridor it should again begin to increase in attractivity for those looking the charts.
The
usage statistics (transactions per day) still look extremely good. Even after the Ordinals hype has waned, LTC still sees more than half of the transaction count per day than BTC (currently 200-250k/day).
