but not until it happens? the price will remain this low.

This thread created back in February 2 2018 and that is almost a month after Ripple (XRP) hit All time High All Time High Jan 04, 2018 (5 years ago) valuing $3.8419 but from that? it started to fall and never comes back even now cant make it to 1 dollar again.

Not even in 2021 bull market? Ouch but I think that is because XRP still has an unresolved issue. This must be the one that is holding its potential. Many people are still in doubt and maybe many of them already abandoned XRP resulting for the coin to decline and never recover anymore. It's been 5 years already ever since the OP invests in XRP and until now, there is almost no improvement.

I think OP already gave up too and sold all his XRP. That should help him to have an extra money which he can then use for a more valuable coin. He miss the past bull run because of a bad coin choice but he must have learned his lesson already and not miss this upcoming one.

I feel bad too, XRP was excluded from the last bullrun due to the SEC case, which was done on purpose to keep retail investors away. I keep stacking XRP though and I'm doing bounty tasks on Zealy io to get more crypto. how can you doubt Ripple is an investment? ,
even though if you see from the Chart XRP has never fallen below $ 0.1 in the last 5 years and even when bad news hits XRP it still survives,
of course this is positive because we know how Ripple's fundamentals work, and I'm sure you will regret it if you doubt it XRP.

Ripple is one of the most hated tokens in this space both Bitcoin and Ethereum communities ridicule it, but has continued to be one of the top coins in the space, the team must be doing something right, just look at the issue they have with SEC, the team decided to go toe to toe with SEC in court and a victory for them in the court will mean victory for the whole space but have no support of the whole community. I don't hold any $XRP but just feel for the team, some token prices would have dumped significantly if they suffered half of what the Ripple team has gone through

Ripple liquidity is very high and it will take long time to reach 5$. One time XRP trend was so high and people said that it will be next BTC. It was considered that many bank will interect with Xrp and it will be used as a payment services worldwide. at that time i was expected that it price might rise very high like like LTC but Sec case totally runined the future of ripple. later many new coins launched and all big whale of XRP shifted to other coins and now in two years it can rise to 2$. Of any big news come especially if Ripple wins over Sex then this news can pump Xrp to many X.

and calling an ancient coin is not so good to hear from investors.
never forget that this coin had served its investors for years and yes the timing of buying can be today or the next day.

that's it, cheap price now can be a risk way but favorable because even if it hit back 1 dollar then you are already 100% profit.

Why you blaming the XRP,it’s good potential crypto currency.XRP had some legal problems,when the legal issues of XRP was solved.We can expect the big bull run in the XRP,many experienced traders holding huge amount of XRP.Most of people here know about the XRP,the price of XRP was stable.It doesn’t mean it will not increase to high value.Their was huge opportunity in XRP in long run.The current price of XRP will be 0.5$ and it’s not static price.The price of XRP alone not to be considered,the sustainability of XRP should be considered.Most traders opinion is the maximum price of X will be 5$,but my opinion will be 50$ in couple of months.

I still have a good chunks of Ripple in my pocket and willing to risk this waiting long , I know that it will be harder for this to climb because of many issues most important one is that about SEC that had been running for years now.

I may not expect a 5 dollars price instead I only wanted to see it cross 2 dollars and I'm done.

That is earlier today but now we are dropping to 93cents as i am typing this post.

Looks like we are falling already now.

That drop was normal, XRP would drop because bitcoin dropped to 56k again as of this typing.

It's a classic trend, when bitcoin is down, altcoins market will follow, and maybe that news is not heavy enough for XRP to make an opposite move.

2 years passed and Ripple remain that low , not even crossing 1 dollar again from that long of waiting , now sitting at 50 cents and seems to be the stable price for this coin.

lucky that I need to drop all of my holdings before it drops below 80 cents and now contented to what coins i choose to invest.

not so good to stay this long for this coin.

because we know 2021 was a bad year for Ripple and they were struggling against the SEC,
but in the end they won, and I believe $5 or even $10 can be reached for XRP in the next bullish,

don't look at your portfolio again, rather than you cut loss and my advice is that you reopen your portfolio when the bull run comes, then at that time you will smile, because I believe the price of XRP can definitely reach its ATH or even $5 (like the target you want), so you don't have to worry about investing in XRP for the long term.

my style mate, I only commonly check the market when there is a bullrunning because I trust my coins i have in my folio , there are a chance when I come in market checking it everyday (those days when I was new here) that i decide to sell out because of panicking.

Now we are in this situation , i come to realize that this is not a daily basis of checking the price , instead this depend on how we trust our coins and how we can risk our investment for long term investing.

Don't Get Involved

Before facing problem with SEC Commission ever Ripple reach almost $5 and I got profit after long term holding above $5,000 before reinvesting and XRP price drop drastically. Not sure with second chance for Ripple coins back to higher price above new all time high record reach, against SEC is not easy although Ripple have won this cases but difficult getting back investor trust.
Close possibility with Ripple reach above $1 and seems not consistency because right now keep stable around $0.5 and need more than 10 time for Ripple reach 5$.

I use to hold Ripple(XRP) in 2019 when the price starts to drop not knowing that it will continue to drop so I sell all my coins and never buy again, instead I bought Dogecoin and Ethereum in which those coins brings me best return in 2021.

almost reached 5 years ago as the recorded ATH is almost 4 $ in which close to consider but after what the case filed ? I am afraid this can be taken any time soon mate and maybe will take more years as the problem is still on top and the US Security and Exchange are not giving up.

expect this to happen longer and you may purchase in this lowest price and wait if that happens.

but for me? best to divert in other coins for a while for better outcome of your money.
