I do not think XRP will be able to reach $ 5 per coin. Because so many people have realized that XRP is just a trivial altcoin and does not have too many outstanding features. Investing in XRP will be a big mistake.
I am really not an investor and have not yet learned about any altcoins. So I recommend you analyze it carefully before making any decision.

Can you imagine how much market cap Ripple needs to meet before it hits $3 - $5? Before it was able to reach $3 but it is now struggling to hit even $1.

It is literally impossible for the Ripple project to reach a market capitalisation of 195 billion next year. They would have to grow their value by 2500%. It is very unlikely for any project to grow that much in such a short timespan and Ripple already has a big market cap. Bitcoin, which ... No one can say that now and ever. Well

nope i do not think so, there are better altcoins than ripple at the moment, and a ripple at $5 would be almost a x8 from the actual price, and that is more than crazy to be honest

$5 is a hardly possible scenario in the observable future taking into consideration current global cryptomarket conditions, XRP circulating supply and its current MC. It is possibly only if the cryptomarket MC approaches to or exceeds $1 trillion, then all assets incl XRP will experience huge speculative price spikes.
But, XRP aims to be the officially recognized asset massively used by banks that means a necessity to evade a price volatility and to be less speculative asset. If XRP will be widely used by leading banks it is possible that XRP will leave the cryptomarket to opearate in legally stable and friendly regulated environment.

I do not think it so, if it ever reached $3, it was because of a miracle and i really doubt that it will happen again, so no, for me it is almost impossible and not gonna happen anytime soon if it ever recovers.

Ripple is a pretty good altcoin.
Although the value is quite low this coin is very stable and Ripple coins experience continuous price increases.
The price is very stable.
I'm sure Ripple in the future will be a great coin and the price could reach $ 5.

I personally don't believe in such possibility. XRP is not liked by community as I see, this coin was also strongly pumped, that's not good for it too as well.

Ripple reached over $3 in January of 2018 so $5 should an easy target to achieve by end of this year or early 2019 once crypto market takes off to the upside.

I would not make big bets on ripples, it's a good coin, but it shows growth only on strong pampas and manipulations. Such growth is possible with a strong growth of the entire market, in 2019 maybe.

I do not think that the price will return to 2.50, but if you do not want to lose money then I recommend forgetting this investment for a year

Of course ripple can reach good prices again, but I am not sure that it is a reliable coin. In my opinion, it is nothing more than a pump-dump coin.

Why would I cry? My initial investment paid of 200 times...I got big portfolio of numerous coins because my initial investment went up 20000%

maybe that sounds worthless for you, but I'm perfectly fine with that...now I keep 30% portfolio in XRP and thats still much more than I started with Grin
