I cannot argue because this is too far to think about. I just hope that crypto can grow even more from the day-to-day. I think crypto will be very successful in the future. There will be a lot of new projects and some of the old projects will be able to achieve the popularity and fully working platform. Our planet is in an horrifiying rapid change and we can't imagine what we'll experience in 2050. Cryptocurrencies may be converted to something we can't imagine right now and they can manage to survive somehow even though quantum computers are in use.

in 2050 I'm sure crypto has been used daily. the whole world must have legalized crypto. so I don't think crypto will die in the future. The blockchain is a good technology that can be used for any indursturst, it becomes strange if the development stops suddenly.
All you need to check out is the development strides that has been done in blockchain technology, blockchain is going mainstream and even though crypto seems to be a bit behind now, it would surely catch up to the adoption that blockchain is getting.

We can't really predict what's going to happen in 2050 but if you look at how Fiat currency evolve over the time then you can say that crypto would still continue to evolve over the years.
The technology - definitely yes. I'm sure that almost every alt that we can see today will die, there is a tiny chance that BTC will be alive. I guess 31 year is too much and there could appear new game changers so they could replace even BTC.
