I'm not sure if there's any reason for it to go up, but it certainly can't crash that hard, as it already lost more than 50% of its value

Many people have lost a lot in 2018.They hope that the market environment will be better in 2019.But I think that if we want the market to recover, we need to wait for two years.
The main word here will improve, and the second word should be how much. The bears can and will be defeated, but the bulls will not give the necessary impetus to reach past records in a year.Well an improvement will very much be appreciated if it comes no matter how small or how slow it comes. 2018 was a dry year we all know that. And i don't expect as well the bulls to make a rampage this year but hopefully we can get the bears to take their turn hibernating. I'd be happy if btc can finish the year close to 10k levels.

You some how right but the positive news seems not to be what will bring the investors confidence back because there's a lot good news happening lately (example a bank launched crypto supported wallet) and I believed what the investors need now is to see the bullion market happening and we are yet to reach that stage.

Correct, many only look at technical factors when they make their predictions about what the market will do, but the market is made of people which means the psychology of traders and investors plays a huge role in the market as well, and the trust of many investors has been lost and it is possible many of them will never come back and even those investors that remain do not have funds to push the demand and the price up since they have lost most of it during 2018 or they already invested everything they could afford.
There are chances to increase the prices in the market but we don't know exactly how long it will take and in the beginning, of the year we see some positive side towards the market makes many people think positive about the market but the price of ETH went down quickly because the development of ETH postponed to next month.
With the huge green market We had for two years in Crypto market. I believe We will see the whole market cap as just above $ 100 Billion in the end of 2019.There will be another drop which will recover at the end of this year. in 2020 We will start to make a real uptrend after Breaking $6k.

I don't know exactly, even I am sure no one can ensure you about it. As you are thinking that Crypto market will improve within 2 years, but you are not sure either! We are making a time frame to keep ourselves calm and wait for that! Therefore, I always believe the crypto market environment will change, but I have no time frame about it! The concern in the market is more than the market improving for 2019, their lots of plan to manage the volatility of the top coins for now and beyond. If bear markets always come after every bull run there is need to control the depth of price dump in subsequent years. The trade volume is significantly different or low for the 2 market runs.
