From all indications altcoin prices will be better off this year compared to 2019. It's really encouraging to see the market pick up, with Bitcoin being the lead. However there are some unverified statements that the clash between America and Iran is also influencing the market uptrend, I think the principal push for the market is Bitcoin halving news. It is not only possible but also certain that altcoin price will increase this year. Altcoins with low marketcap will be more favoured in the increase but all coins will also increase.

You are not really specific in the altcoin you are referring to. Not all altcoins are dumping, some are gradually picking up unlike the others. While others are the opposite. While some will cease to be heard of. This is how the market should be, one day it will be red another day it could be greenIf you are having less confident on your investment in altcoins, migrate to Bitcoin to gain your confidence.
the question is very subjective as it depends on what altcoin are you referring to. if the alt is crap then i dont think its price will be good. but if that coin has real app and real users why not? but aside from that, the coin should have active dev team that is not greedy. and we wont know that until they disappear. so if you want to invest in a particular coin, closely follow the movement of their team and the updates. somehow you can get signals or hints what they are planning next...
