In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
i think it is almost the same thing if you receive bitcoin as salary or cash as salary. Because they have the same value, if you receive cash you can buy bitcoin with it , so its not a big thing to rwceive bitcoin as salary . this is my opinion

Nopes, I will never prefer to get my salary in bitcoins as price fluctuations will affect my income and that can be very risky if price goes to very low level in future.
we would  have the same decision since its  a risky thing if you decide to recieve your  salary on bitcoin because your salary would depend on bitcoin price if it  inflates then its a good time  for you  coz you will earn more than your  salary but if  the price would go down then normally your salary  would  decrease too.

Yeah that is going to be risky at all, especially when you have high salary and if you are going to be paid with the same amount through bitcoins.
Just like my example, your salary for one month is $1,000 and for today you are going to be paid with same value through bitcoins. But you are not expecting to happen tomorrow the price did fall to $950 so you lost $50 instantly.

Yup and that is the reason that it make so risky to accept salary in bitcoins, as your expenses are based on your income and which are fixed and necessary and you cannot change or adjust that monthly according to the price of bitcoin.

I would consider accepting bitcoin as a salary. The only problem is that all my bills have to be paid with fiat so I would have to convert. Also, I don't know of any businesses or restaurants in my area that accept bitcoin.
Converting it to Fiat is not a problem anymore. Some wallets have the option to convert BTC to Fiat via cash bank account, door to door delivery, Cash Pick up. Well the only difference is it varies between the fees. Having the bank deposit the cheapest as it is free. So converting btc into fiat is not a problem. BTC however grows quickly than any fiat money out there, That is why I want BTC as my salary

I will not take risk of accepting salary in Bitcoin in a situation where prices are unstable. This is biggest dilemma of Bitcoin there are radical changes occur in price which may let my salary of 3/4 of total value. I am big fan and regular user of Bitcoin for different things that is totally different thing.
Well we are not the same country but for me there is no risk that i want to accept bitcoin as my salary.. because i can instantly convert it into fiat.. in our wallet made by adopters here in my country.. anytime we can withdraw bitcoins  in my wallet using their service.. so its not a problem even the price is not stable..

Converting to fiat is not a problem at all, that you can do it very easily but the major issue is what you will do if price falls to extreme level in future, it will also lead to lower income as your salary will be fixed in terms of btc.
If the problem is fixed salary why you tell the company first if you work there better to talk to them that if the price is getting low bitcoin salary should be increase too.. so that you will not lose.

I don't think company will get agree to it, as when you get salary in fiat there is a fixed package company is offering you which is clearly mentioned in your offer letter, same goes with bitcoin too.

I think only brazil has 150 stores are accepting bitcoin as payment. so if you are not in that place you can not see any restaurant that accept bitcoins.
Here in my country i can easily instant withdraw my bitcoin into fiat.. that i can use instantly.. i dont know for other places if they are same to my country. we can also use bitcoin to pay monthly bills this is a good thing here in my country. they are  adopting bitcoins here..

Since I'm bitcoin holder , I will accept it without any problem. But my goverment still forbid it since bitcoin can't be owned by them
Bitcoin as my salary will make me easier to manage my financial account

whether you will not feel the loss if the bitcoin price falls? it means your work is paid with cheap and become useless.
if you want to hold bitcoin, it still better that you get from your efforts with growing your bitcoin.

That is a great thing for bitcoin specially, and i think the company should pay their employees according to the value of their salary but not a certain amount of bitcoins, for example if my salary is $200 then the company should pay me $200 in bitcoin regardless of the price of bitcoin, in that way no employees would have any disadvantages but they will get what they deserve for their jobs.

Yes, bitcoin as a salary would be great  but remember the risk of having a salary in bitcoin even they pay you exact amount  of salary in btc but the price is always  rising and fluctuating  and it also affect your salary amount that you hold. Thats why i would not like to receive bitcoin as my salary it would be better if i receive pure fiat.

Yeah its risky to receive salary in bitcoins as price volatility will be an major issue as it will never allow us to earn stable income from bitcoins, so its better not to go with this option.

Saying the truth it is risky to receive the salary on bitcoin because the bitcoin price is not as stable that we can risk the salary to receive in bitcoin.
If I would spend them (and have where to spend through bitcoin) then it would be great, but what I have to do is to convert on fiat (paying lots of fees) and then use the money.

Yeah its not smart to accept salary in bitcoin, it can be risky as your income will depend on the price of bitcoin, sometimes it will be too high and sometimes it will be too low.

This is one of the reason but there is an opportunity to skip this risk because if people who want to receive the salary on bitcoin can invest on things that its value in bitcoin will not be dropped like the physical bitcoins.

exactly a disadvantage for employers if they should be equivalent to how much the salary is. if the employer pays $200 a week, then send btc worth $200 a week.
if btc price goes up in less than a week, then the employer could have sent less btcs if he just delay for a bit.

in that case, the employer may wait for bitcoin news before releasing fee.
