I would definetly accept bitcoin as my salary. But that is certainly the future that is coming soon. Anyway, has anyone a salary in bitcoin already?

for now, i think i will not accept bitcoin as my salary, but for future if there is many store online and store offline that around me was available, then i will accept bitcoin as my salary, because if i accept bitcoin as my salary for now, i think it will be hard to find store offline that accept bitcoin as their payment.
you can exchange it into your local fiat mate, the only problem is the fluctuation so receiving salary is not good if the price went down before you received or exchange it into your local currency.

Exchanging bitcoin to fiat is not a problem, but the main problem is price fluctuations, and your income will depend on the price of bitcoins and it can be below your expectations if price falls down extremely.

In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
well i dont think i would nt accept bitcoin as salary ..because its market value changes all thhe time .and ur company pays u bitcoin acc to today s market value but then tomorrow its value decreased ..then i dont think its useful at al and i would nt trust it too ..kudoos Smiley
I would never accept Bitcoin as an salary at this time because I do not think that it would be that handy maybe that in the future it would make more sense.
For now I am fine with the way it is y doing Bitcoin as something extra.

Even though  you cant find  store to spend your bitcoin  but still you could always  exchange it to fiat but  its quite a hassle things for us   to exchange always our bitcoin compared to spend them directly. For me  i wont  accept  bitcoin as  my salary  because  i dont  like  the price  votality of it that would  definitely affect my salary amount.

If my salary was 10 BTC I would accept. Some Bitcoin I would spend, some I'll keep.

Why not as long as it is fix for example 1btc. Wether the price goes up or down they wont change it and they will still pay 1btc no matter what the price is.
Lol unfortunately there are no jobs in bitcoin that will surely give 1 BTC salary every month or every week, most of the work on bitcoin, will provide an income depends on the intensity of your own work. work on bitcoin will usually provide an income that is not steady
I do not know if there are companies that are not related to bitcoin but salaries with bitcoin? is there?

thats true, bitcoin first of all is unstable and besides that i think that no job will give you stable amount of bitcoins

No I would not like to get bitcoin as my salary due to the fact that its not handy for my billings I have to do every month so because of that I would never do this..
yes same problem is facing so many people, in our area we also facing the same problem, we have no facilities to use bitcoin in our local markets,
Exactly that is the major problem with most of the users and for the same reason people will never prefer to accept salary in bitcoin not for at least at this stage but in future things and perception can be changed.

I think the volatility aspect weigths heavier than people not being able to spend their coins widely. If the price would be stable, Bitcoin wouldn't be as interesting as an investment as is the case right now with all its volatility.

If price would be bit higher and even stable then I don't think that people would mind in accepting their salary in bitcoin and at a moment both those features are absent in bitcoins and that is the reason people are not going for it.

Yeah even I haven't heard that any company has started to pay in bitcoin yet to their employees and the fact is even if you get 1 btc per month it will depend on the price of bitcoin if price goes higher then you can expect higher income and vice versa.

it would only make sense if there was another benefit, i.e. lower taxes. In Europe bitcoin is not considered a currency, and you dont have to pay taxes if you earn money from it.

Not sure if this also applies to salary though?

I think  if the company paid you with bitcoin, taxes are already deducted from it just like the normal salary where your tax are already deducted with all  the insurance bills.  And it really make sense since holding bitcoin means holding currency and at the same time having an investment that  can grow in value overtime.

If company is going to deduct taxes from it then what's the benefit of getting salary in bitcoins? People loves bitcoin only because it gives them rid from taxes and if this is the case then no one will prefer to get paid in bitcoins.
