agree to that. its just an issue of whether an old man have money or not. and most importantly is if he could go to the casino himself. one would definitly not push and old man riding a wheelchair.

and then casino doesn't have rules about old age. they don't allow minors this  law is not even theirs but the government just now allowing kids.

The gambler who had their own way of the age based game means, most of the old age gamblers will not play the important game.Because the important game with the more amount of dollars for the game,So the aged people will use to hold the dollars for their old age expenses. The young gambling based gambler will start to save some dollars for their benefit of playing the match in the old age.So we can't say any old age people should not hold the money for the future and not for their gambling game money. So the gambler who doesn't posses good health in the gambling site due to the old age,he will not do the gambling bet in the high way for the benefit of saving money for the old age gambling money.

That is important of course, if you are gambling and having fun but not have the money for it then you should not be having fun like that, it doesn't give you the right to have fun when you are not financially doing that stable.

I personally believe that the best thing you could do in that case would be making sure that you are gambling with care, and if you do not have the money for it then you should avoid it at all costs. I understand not that many people could end up with that result, but if you are careful about it then you should be able to make a profit from it. I believe that the best thing to do in this case is to make sure you are dealing with a good return, if you are not, then stop gambling all together.
Gambling is an activity that is popular with many people, many people gamble just to get rid of their boredom, not with the aim of making money

So don't be surprised that there are still many people who gamble until they are old because they enjoy gambling and the process, and don't use gambling as a source of income

I have the intention to gamble until I am around 45 years old, because at this time, my motor skills have started to decline

Age is not an issue in gambling, but simply our responsibility when playing it. I personally encourage anyone to seek out gambling as a means of pure entertainment, and even in my own family, even though there are older gamblers, I do not want them to change as long as they are conscious of their actions with gambling.

I often encounter some old men over 70 years old at offline lottery shops, where we discuss the probability of numbers. The atmosphere is fun and stress free. I myself do not guarantee that when I get old I will stop playing, but I have always been clear about my actions with gambling and do not want to exceed the limit and cause bad situations for myself.
Well, thank you for your advice, but at a certain age, there are some things that are to be engaged with extreme care, or perhaps avoided them. Of course, gambling is entertaining, that's what I play it mostly for, but can most people say the same thing? What if these people now gamble till they are old and keep losing? As we get older, there are things we leave for the world, this is particularly for those people who have various health challenges that could be aggravated by their mental state. If anyone would continue to gamble at the old stage, they should be super responsible about it as you said but if possible they should abstain when they know their mind state is too weak for it.

Also, it would be fine if the old person didn't have a history of addiction, if not, this is another issue and another reason why the general advice that "age is not a barrier when gambling" is not a good one. If old people who are novices heed this advice, it might be the time of their retirement and idleness that they would become addicted to gambling and lose all at that painful age.
That is important of course, if you are gambling and having fun but not have the money for it then you should not be having fun like that, it doesn't give you the right to have fun when you are not financially doing that stable.

if we gamble responsibly then we will not experience gambling addiction, responsible gamblers have a time limit and budget to stop at any time while addiction cannot be stopped suddenly have to use a slightly longer process, but we can prevent the addiction from occurring.
now so that when we are old we don't gamble continuously due to addiction, but there is no prohibition against gambling in old age as long as they can afford it because maybe the goal is just for entertainment and to repeat their youth when they were with their friends.
I myself don't know for sure whether I will still gamble when I'm old because even now I rarely use gambling such as slots or other types of casinos, but if I think about it seems I won't gamble when I'm old maybe 40 or older because my interest in the world of gambling is not that high.

Gambling in Chinese culture is a medium for testing luck and also as a means of sharpening the brain, so don't be surprised if we see Chinese people who are 60 years old and still gamble a lot, they claim that if they gamble their brain will slow down, I think it's quite funny when I heard that sentence, but personally I will probably stop gambling at the age of 50, and will focus more on my family and grandchildren in the future.

Sharpening the brain in the gambling here in cryptocurrency? What do you mean by this? How can gambling sharpen our thinking? sharp where? Sharp in being greedy or having an addiction to it?

I'm just a little curious, so I just asked you: Of course, if you're old enough, would you still want to specialize in gambling here in the crypto gambling business? Why don't you think more about having fun, for sure, than the things that others think are their sources of income?

One day in a gambling shop I saw an old man come in the room, I had this same thought. But wasn't sure what the right answer would be in the future. As nobody can predict it. The question in quote is a gamble. Hopefully, don't wish to get too attached into gambling,  yet gambling at that age depends on the changes that may have been instituted into the industry. Will they still be offline casino or everyone would do that online? because old people prefer offline casino and enjoy the fun of gambling while retired and earning stipends from the government or whoever is their boss. Spending months in hotels, enjoying comps from their casino comps group. If these type of gambling still exist then, I'd definitely keep in touch with gambling as a way of keeping the brain busy, at old age. Not sure they'll be room for retirement in gambling at my end. Most works I've read, centers that old age is quite a nice time to play gambling. The health benefits; critical thinking. Keeping the brain busy at all times, figuring out the next odd to play. Helps the elderly men to still respond to issues of life, intelligently. At same time socializing with younger generations and gaining relevant information about the era. If everything falls in place as planned, I'm definitely in to enjoy my gambling habit.
Your take on gambling as a way to stay mentally and socially active in old life is intriguing. Yes, gambling can improve critical thinking and socialization. The financial side is a double-edged sword. What about alternatives that offer equal cognitive and social benefits without financial risks? Think about group activities like bridge or mahjong, where strategy and social interaction are key.

Technology is also evolving quickly. You said that online platforms may change older generations' predilection for physical casinos. Imagine a future where online gambling systems are as immersive and sociable as casinos. This would meet the changing tastes of the elderly and be convenient.

Gambling can be fun and mentally stimulating, but its important to be careful and examine other options. Mixing gambling with intellectual and social activities may make it safer and more enjoyable as you age.

One thing I can remember about the aged men, is that they love to go out once in a while to socialize with old time activities. People tend to go back to that which they're good at, while they were young. At old age and during my young days, I wasn't an active player of mahjong like you mentioned. It'll be difficult to fall back to enjoying such a game. But, I get the concept of your message. Yet such games can still require gambling since it's a board game involving 2 players. It still helps the brain to advance in thoughts and stay very active. Talking about technology, we already know the importance of following the technology trend. As none can say for sure what new idea will skyrocket and take over the gambling world. Depending on the  nature of the world. If it became a world where people are required to only stay in doors due to climate change or virus circulating outside the society. But, in a world where such things doesn't exist, people must go out to have fun and socialize. As staying indoor isn't all that fun. Despite how good the technology moves to make things look fun on computers. Human beings enjoy seeing and communicating with each other physically. When under control of the funds and they're sufficient to handle the gambling habit, it's encouraging to have one gambling to participate in, while enjoy our old age. What matters a lot is having a good health.

I will gamble till old age if eyes will allow me to be doing it till 70 years because, am not addicted to it and is part of some of the entertainment I use to release stress and over thinking from my body. I don't gamble for profits purpose, but I gamble just to cash some funs at the moment because there are some particular teams I used to support to win in a particular game, and if the team win for the favour of my prediction, show that enjoyment will flow through out the week.

Even though you have other things doing, I don't see any reason why you will quite gambling at 42 years because, that is not an old age, but if you promise your wife or husband that you will stop gamble at the age of 42 years is good because you are the only one who knows what gambling has done to you that made you make such promised.

I think there is no age limit on gambling, if you know and feel that gambling only causes a lot of problems in your life especially in your finances then obviously the best you should do is try to stop or just reduce it from now on. Never target about when you should quit gambling because obviously time is not a reference for anyone to be able to stop, or that means if you have entered the addiction phase then you will not be easy to get out of it and that means you need a long time to process out of the activity.

Basically, there is no problem if you make gambling as nothing more than a fun activity to fill your leisure time, you can do that even if you have entered old age, but on the other hand I would not recommend it too much, because of the bad risks that can befall you at any time. After all, there are many other activities that can provide entertainment, not just gambling, and I'm sure you don't want to enjoy your old age with a lot of financial problems due to gambling. It's all up to you, after all, it's a high-risk activity, so if possible it's better to stop now or just reduce it so you can enjoy your old age with other fun things without getting involved with gambling.

Nostalgia! Oh yeah, that's a good reason behind continuing gambling too for old people.
I am a nostalgic person. Why? I still prefer playing PSP, and PS1 games despite the fact that there are more better games in consoles in this era. Why? It brings back a lot of memories.
I do think it will have the same effect on old gamblers or those who are getting old. Let's say they have a favorite slot game today and even though they will be creating new ones in maybe the next 5-10 years, he will still keep on going back at that same game and just play around running it with small bets just to have some fun.
That may be why I answered here I will keep on playing or betting even in my old age. But I might prefer 1 or 2 bets only on sports and just cheer for my preferred team while watching the game with my bet on the line.
Yep nostalgia never ends, whenever you're free your brains will remind you with memories when you were young.

I also playing PS1 games, I'm curious which game you played as I've played many games. Castlevania, CTR, The Legend Of Dragoon, Chrono Cross, Bishi Bashi, Team Buddies, Legend Of Mana, Breath of Fire 4, Metal Slug, Monster Rancher 2, Digimon World 3 are my favorites. Cheesy

Although there are better games with outstanding graphic, but I just fell in love with the bad graphic in PS1 games lol.

That's right, in my opinion addiction is a habitual behavior that is carried out continuously without proper control, so that he will continue to force his activities in order to seek satisfaction or achieve what he wants.
Most people who have experienced gambling addiction think that gambling is a place that can make money, even though the results are uncertain because they are still very doubtful.
Yes, in my opinion, age cannot determine when we will stop gambling, depending on how we can control ourselves when gambling is the most important thing.
if we gamble responsibly then we will not experience gambling addiction, responsible gamblers have a time limit and budget to stop at any time while addiction cannot be stopped suddenly have to use a slightly longer process, but we can prevent the addiction from occurring.
now so that when we are old we don't gamble continuously due to addiction, but there is no prohibition against gambling in old age as long as they can afford it because maybe the goal is just for entertainment and to repeat their youth when they were with their friends.

That's right, responsible behavior will prevent us from gambling addiction and responsible behavior will also make us comfortable in carrying out gambling activities because we can control ourselves when playing by limiting bets so that if we lose we won't lose much.

That's right, there are no problems or restrictions when you are old, you can still gamble as long as you know your limits and only do it when you want, don't depend and hope for profits from gambling, then when you are old you won't be addicted.
If you currently have a mindset like that, I think it will be very good in the future because you won't have too high hopes for the results of gambling.

We don't know what's waiting ahead of us and that is because we have no idea if we are still able to do the things that we've been doing for so long. So if I get older and I'm still having some fun with gambling, why not? As long as I won't be spending all of the pensions that I have because I may look like an idiot doing that and spending more than what I can afford to lose.

So if basically I want to gamble at that time, I'll spend the most spare money that I have or if someone gives me money, I may take a bit from that portion because that's how. Like the old days, it's all about doing myself a favor and winning some and losing a lot more.  Grin
Honestly, as long as we know what amount we're spending to gamble and the way we're living by that time, it's no problem.

Whether you gamble or do any other activities that the oldies are doing, you're on yourself and only you can know such things that you are about to do. With the money you have, you're free to spend them everywhere but don't you forget that we're old by that time and can't work that much anymore.s

Actually gambling is a way of life for some people and just fun for others. However, you should take inventory of yourself to ensure you're not subject to addiction cos from playing for mere fun, it tends to become a way of life. For now, I'm on pause, not necessarily that I stopped, but I had to advise myself to be able to manage funds properly as they're not in abundance any longer, and there's much bills to undertake. I was getting addicted and it affected my finances so much that I had to  avoid it for now.., I'll mention this, once a  gambler is always a gambler. Up till now, I still bet occasionally, and I bet you OP,  you might bet even into your seventies.. lol

Exactly my perspective aswell, if responsible gambling is been practiced, there's almost no way some one will get addicted because when you are responsible with your gambling habit, you only gamble based on your plans and strategy as anything outside these will be definitely avoided fully mad that way you almost don't get addicted.

Self control and discipline is another thing that comes with responsible gambling because if you don't have any of these you wouldn't be able to stick to your strategy to become responsible enough not to get addicted. When  you become addicted you lose control of your habit and yourself and definitely not get profitable enough because most often you loose too well before you win and these may not be able to make up for the loss so you then keep chasing the loss.

I don't agree with the idea that gambling at old age sometimes are measures elderly use as a form of entertainment and that's because if the fact that there are several entertaining games that an elderly man can play in his leisure time to get entertained like golf, cycling etc.
Gambling is one game that one must be nervous of whenever he's playing it because it involves money and  the fear of not losing money makes it a nervous game. At old age, it's not expected of one to get engaged in activities that'll make him feel nervous while doing it. Gambling at old age I don't think is a good decision

This is true, but they have their own choices that will determine their future, regarding gambling until old age, it depends on their choices. There are some who gamble until old age because they do have enough money so they spend their old age in gambling or casinos and that's probably what they do because of the pleasure they feel there. Suppose you don't have money or don't have enough money it's better to enjoy your old age with useful things or activities such as gardening exercising or spending time with family as you said. But it's different if people who are successful because of gambling and become billionaires have so much money that they can't run out because some of them get income from investments or something, and they are already comfortable with the gambling zone, so they choose to spend their old age gambling. I don't think this is wrong as long as they can afford it, because people's pleasures are different. so it all depends on us who live it.
They do have their own choice in deciding whether to continue gambling until they are old or whether they will stop when they reach a certain age and it depends on their readiness to decide. If they still want to continue gambling when they are old, they must pay attention to their health because everything has changed and they do not have the abilities they used to have and their health may have declined. Maybe they won't be able to visit the casino because their health is failing so they can only gamble at home. But it would be better for those who are old to think about stopping gambling because after all, they often gambled when they were young and actually, that was enough for them to stop gambling because of their advanced age. Maybe they can still play easy gambling with their friends just to reminisce about the past.

It is possible that if there are no factors that force a gambler to stop gambling, the gambler will continue to gamble with their favorite game.
that's what old gamblers do, they only play one or two games. and consistently play it and have no interest in other games.
Maybe it will be a little different for young gamblers. exploring several games and even several casinos becomes natural. Indeed, there will be no age limit for this. Even for me personally, it is difficult to say that the target wants to stop gambling.
Even they want to stop gambling, they just can't because we're like feeling nostalgic and want to back in the old days where we were happy or enjoy for doing what we likes. You will still gamble for few times when you're really miss when you were young.

Just like me, sometime I watch someone play console game on youtube or I do play it by myself.
Nostalgia! Oh yeah, that's a good reason behind continuing gambling too for old people.

Or they could learn new games, as far as I know, some of the games that I started to play like 10-15 years ago is no longer in circulate and it's already outdated. And you can only find them is some obscure casinos. Unlike before where it was in the top casinos in our country.

So I guess for those who have age like fine wine, they still want to play new slots because they are not going to find those nostalgic slots that they used to play and could have memories that give them a huge pay back in the days.
well, you have a point mate! More likely they want to explore updated casino games in this generation where everything is very accessible by the help of internet and mobile gadgets. Maybe you're right, some Gamblers who's in the pre-retirement age gambling because they are reminiscing the times when they gamble during their 30's. If that's the reason, Absolutely they're gamble for fun and having a good time only, not like today that mostly people who gamble is hoping to win and used it as a source of income.
