The days of one person with a bitcoin mining rig are long over I thought.   The mining is done close to the manufacture of the asic and where electricity is cheaply available from hydropower maybe

Trading is a skill so thats feasible for those that can manage risk successfully

I cannot afford to quit my job at this stage as the price of bitcoin is too low and I am earning very descent amount from my job, its good to earn from both ways.

if i can focus at bitcoin, im sure i can earn $400-$500 permonth, and my salary now only $150 .
i hope i can go full time on bitcoin in next year after i reach minimum capital to trade, building bitcoin mining rig etc.

Cannot afford to leave my job for bitcoin as I am earning better in my full time job in compare to bitcoin and not sure how long bitcoin can help me.

If you are earning way better to your full time job, don't leave it as it is hard to find a job and get well compensated. In bitcoin, yes you can earn
a possible income as your daily job, but that is also hard to find and it will take time for it.
So, love your job and also if you have opportunity in bitcoin , grab it.

you're right, you can make a lot of money by combining both your income, besides looking for bitcoin does not interfere with the job that I have, so I could not quit my job
there are several ways to get bitcoin that requires a lot of time, so you can not do both.
but if you get in the way of mining, so it's better not to leave your job, because mining does not require much time.
but if the other way maybe you will be a little difficult, because when you come home at night from work, you will feel tired and it was hard to focus on getting bitcoin

Yeah for me also 0.5 btc is a big amount already, I'm contented with that amount, if my salary is like that every 2 weeks / bi-month.
That would really suffice my needs, even it is from my daily job or bitcoin job.

Only BTC0.5 per 2 weeks or you mean BTC1 a month? Put some effort mate and find real job. I started at around BTC0.8 a month and today my salary in real life job is around BTC1.2- BTC1.4 per month depends if I have overtime.

-snip-

Depends on where we live, for some countries 1btc/month is a big income already. My country for example, most of regular jobs (real jobs) in my country pays even less than 1btc/month.

In the average salary here in my country, the minimum amount per day is around BTC0.023. That's what we called a minimum waige per day. Im started in BTC0.01 value of bitcoin per day in some restaurants which is not following the minimum waige. Now I began challenging the world of BPO which is not also following the minimum waige but offers an average waige, really above the minimum, because I want to earn more. Now Im proudly reached some of my salary goals and now looking forward to earn more with the help of bitcoin.

Well it will be hard to sacrifice your day job if you are receiving a very reasonable compensation there. And if you are in our country, finding a job
is one of the hardest trial for surviving here even if you have an experience you are not still confident that you are going to be accepted by
the employers. So, working for your day job and remaining there is the best thing to do, but if there is an opportunity in bitcoin, you can work
at the same time but your 1st priority would be your day job.

That's what I'm telling mate, IF look at my post, IF my salary is like that every 2 weeks / bi-month.
That's good that you are well compensated to your job now and it is better if you can have your daily overtime.

i have just been tranfered in my company to another position and it's hard now. i may think again and hope there will be a bitcoin way for me to escape this job. feel really tired.

That is hard. It is harder to work if you do not want your job. If you can find a good paying bitcoin job, it is better you quit and focus on bitcoin. If you are good in bitcoin trading, I think income there will suffice to support your daily need. If you have luck, you can even earn more.

the path you draw has been paved with too many 'if', too dangerous. i don't dare follow it, my life has been set, i can't just completely change it, reset everything.

If you have a good paying job then you should never think of getting full time on bitcoin, and you can work on bitcoin anytime so you can manage that even with your job.

Doing a full time day job is good if you have a good salary but later if you really not into it you will become bored, as an employee you have no freedom because your time and your performance are controlled by your employer, if you maximize your performance the company will benefit and you just share a little. However, if you are good in bitcoins then you don't share your profit cause that all for you and not even taxable.

And in addition if you do bitcoins in full time, you are the boss, you will decide on how long, where and when you will work, and what work do you want to do.  Well if you are earning a really decent amount of bitcoins, that was really great IMO.
As an employee we are working hard to finance our daily expenses and we also dream to have a comfortable life in the future and not just remain and employee for the rest of our life. I can say that being an employee is secure because you will receive a fix amount of salaries and wages every month or payday schedule.

However, this is not the type of income that you wish if you want to feel a comfortable life, having a comfortable life requires a lot of money  and to have a lot of money you need to be rich and you cannot achieve it by working alone we need to get our in the rat race and have our own income by investing. Bitcoin will give us an opportunity and it depends upon us on when are we gonna grab that.

Really bitcoin is small and you cannot assure you can earn big money with it everyday and theirs also threat in bitcoin that it will dissappear  and i can really say we cant rely our future in bitcoin because anything bad can be happen to it and its unstable unlike having a stable job that you can assure to feed your family on your daily needs, and theirs no need to quit for job just to focus on bitcoin but instead you can make bitcoin as side incom where if you can double your pay day earnings with this.

you can't earn big money with bitcoin everyday doesn't mean there is no way to archieve that, and doesn't mean bitcoin is small. but i agree with you about threat in bitcoin, it can dissapear.

Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.
I am going to keep my job that is for sure a job is not only getting money but you get to know people as well. I like my job and making money with Bitcoin on the side makes things even better.

Working on bitcoin doesn't need long time, you can manage it in extra time, and even if you earn less at this stage be satisfied with it, as its worth will be much more in future.

Yes,if I start earning a regular income 5-6 btc per month I won't mind quitting my job to go full time on bitcoin, this way I will be working in field on my dream and get a good income for living.

Me either, if I'm earning 5-6 btc / month I will stick to it. And if there are offers but with small, I will also try to grab it but my most priority.
Would be the job that pays me most.
5-6 BTC it very much, if I managed to generate a bitcoin that much in one month, maybe I will leave in a few years and build a business, but I would not quit my job because I really love my job
Even I would be fine with only half bitcoin.(0.5btc), because for me this is also a good amount and if I could earn that much just with bitcoin setting on the home and infront of the computer. I'll quite my day time job for sure. but most cases online earning have no future.

Quitting my job for the bitcoin is a whole sacrifice and I will never do this because I also have a family that I have to feed and because of that its not worth it in my eyes.

so you think that bitcoin could not make a living for your family? there are a lot of some of my friends have a family and children, but they have gone full time for bitcoin, yes because they can get greater results from their previous work. they can get 1-5 BT /month

Its not possible for everyone to earn that amount in bitcoin per month, and to be honest my salary in fiat is more then 5 btc, then why should I quit my job.

There are certain skills that are required to earn at least an average amount when doing this kind of thing. Unless you are good at those then it will really be hard to make a living through this kind of thing.
