I've read this thread a couple of times and chuckle at all the scam/noscam analysis.  The point is, all games of chance are the same.  There's a chance you'll get the winning numbers, chance you'll pull the right cards, chance the dice will come up sixes, and a chance that the house is rigged.  I picture this guy as just another guy like the rest of us that came across some money (had it, given it, stole it, whatever) and put up a site in hopes to make some more.  So this guy speaks no good english, his advertising skills suck, and there is a chance his whole operation might be a scam, but life is a game of chances and this one only costs a bitnickle.

I totally agree!

@btc_lottery: still waiting for payment!

Soory KushBerry you did not pay the tickets.
Everyone can check your address http://blockexplorer.com/address/1HRaQuqqVF8TW4rYyUvLFNWThQeLFV5mpN . You have to pay to this address 14K12EbvVS911KLPaqxVue9LUvifQ8LcAg and to 1M26R3eEfuSXEv2yw45c78LVkUVB68vHBG.

I'm just lucky I guess, 2 times in a row 5BTC (3 out of 6)  Grin
But even if I lose I would NOT care at all since it is only 0.05BTC per ticket.

I mostly win Smiley
Bought just a ticket for the sake once, and won 5BTC.
Thought about entering again bought 2 tickets:
1.) 3,8,16,23,32,38
2.) 6,13,18,25,31,36

Draw of the 17th is 2,3,5,23,33,38
Which means I got with the 1st ticket 3 out of 6 again Cheesy
Total I made 10BTC of this lottery by only paying 0.15BTC Smiley

Gambling is an entertaining (even addictive) activity, but it is by no means an investment vehicle. I almost cry when I even think about it. One of those things millions of people look to for hope of riches, and they are all just robbing themselves. Fun being the bookie or casino though :/

Well, in the end its ur choice what to believe.
I do NOT know the owner of the site in any way and all I can say it works.
Still I can NOT imagine that there is a jackpot of 10kBTC, I agree.
The rest is just speculation Wink

Hi.
I would like to know if some one know something about lotto page http://www.btclottery.net?

Is any one allready play at this page?

Pretty dodgy if its not regulated.  They can just name their "friends" as the winner.  Though nothing else abt btcs are regulated either.

All I am saying is, why do we keep on hating if we do NOT have any facts, till now we only suspect?
I agree it seems fishy, but I played for 0.05BTC and got 5BTC (100 times as much).
I do not want to promote his site in any way, but I would say, just wait a while and see how it turns out.
That there wasn't a jackpot higher than 5BTC seems pretty true since he is running the lottery only one month or so.

I say just keep an eye on it and see what happens...

You forgot to point his other shill out.

I didn't forget, I thought it was a weaker case and wouldn't help my point much.

Not worth the risk. Just like any other lottery, its built so that you loose. The odds have to go in favor of the house or of course they wouldn't make any money.

Problem is we don't know if he is manipulating the numbers!
In the case he does NOT, I would NOT call this a scam since he still pays you the win.
I agree with point 3, he choose the complete wrong way to advertise his site!

To your conclusion that easily can be drawn without too much speculation:
Point 1 and 2 is what most casino's do.
All over the world they advertise massive jackpots and then when someone actually hits the jackpot they do everything to NOT pay it to you.
For example by simply saying the machine was defect etc.
Also as we all know it's more likely to get a few small payouts than one big one since the chance for winning the big pot is way lower.

So basically what I am saying is, that I do not agree with point 1 and 2 since most casino's do exactly the same.
BUT, I do agree with point 3, he should have advertised his site differently!

Away on an extended break
Hmm today I did not have lucky. I will try today all so Wink
Many people play the lotto and all so already won Wink

if you are going to come here, and advertise your scam, the least you could do, is make sure your shill is not obviously a puppet account. [PROTIP]: Making the same typo is a dead giveaway.

Also, I checked out the numbers on your site, and I have some (I hesitate to say experience) skill for analyzing lottery numbers that win, most people believe this to be a random thing, and they are right, but through an uncanny coincidence real lotteries that are won by certain numbers and combinations of numbers are almost never won again by those numbers.

your site shows several having 'won' with the numbers 16, and 32 together, 5/28 of the last drawings have these two numbers together, also there are 3/28 with both 30, and 40. the numbers 11 and 13 are completely absent from any winning draw. Several numbers are over represented even alone, for example 38, have come up 8/28 times in the recent drawings, which is far more often than would be expected for any number, and yet it occurred with 16 as well, a few come up 7 times, and even more come up 6 times.

I realize all of this can be explained by random chance, but I think its more likely that this whole thing is being manipulated, and that the following conclusions can easily be drawn without too much speculation.

1. the 10000 maximum prize is nonexistent, and will never be paid out.
2. the goal of this site is to hook people with small victories, and then continue to siphon a small trickle of input from people who are easily addicted to gambling, or just like to imagine that they could win 10000 BTC.
3. the poster who made this thread, and the operator of the site are the same person, and this is a poorly veiled scam.
You forgot to point his other shill out.

@Le Happy Merchant:
I thought the same myself, but I won 5BTC so I can't complain Tongue
And yes I agree it looks fishy/like a scam. He should give his players insight into the lottery to get them more confident.
BUT, I'm sure nearly any casino got something fishy about it, and if you got a problem with that, DO NOT GAMBLE!
I won 5BTC, so I can tell you it works, if there actually is a jackpot of 10kBTC, I don't know!
